We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of spiritual attack. The Word of God is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord, and He has given us authority through Jesus Christ to stand against such evil.
First, we must emphasize that protection, deliverance, and victory come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or find refuge (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have power over the enemy. The Bible tells us, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10). If you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him today. It is only through His blood that we are cleansed and protected from all evil.
The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Witchcraft operates in darkness, but we are children of the light (1 Thessalonians 5:5). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life abundantly (John 10:10). We must stand firm in our faith, clothed in the full armor of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).
Let us also remind you that fear is not from God. If you are experiencing fear, rebuking it in Jesus' name is essential. *"For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’* (Romans 8:15). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also encourage you to examine your household for anything that may be giving the enemy a foothold. This includes objects, media, or practices that are not aligned with God’s Word. *"Little children, keep yourselves from idols"* (1 John 5:21). Destroy anything that is tied to witchcraft, the occult, or false religions, and consecrate your home to the Lord. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill every corner of your home, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Now, let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection over this family. Lord, You are a shield around them, their glory, and the One who lifts their heads (Psalm 3:3). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to deliver them from every evil attack (Psalm 34:7). Father, we bind every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy against this family in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness and render the enemy powerless. Fill this home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your light drive out every shadow. We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this family—over their minds, bodies, spirits, and dreams. Let no evil touch them, for they belong to You. Father, we ask that You give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We pray for a hedge of protection around this family, like the hedge You placed around Job (Job 1:10). Let the enemy find no entry point, no crack in the armor, and no open door. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we command every demonic spirit to flee from their presence in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen their faith during this time. Let them not grow weary or fearful but stand firm in the knowledge that You are their God, and You have already given them victory through Christ Jesus. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to keep them safe. We trust in You, and we know that You will never fail them. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying daily over your family, speaking the Word of God over your home, and walking in obedience to Him. The Lord is faithful, and He will deliver you. Stand firm, and do not waver in your faith. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who can pray with you and support you in this battle. You are not alone—the body of Christ is with you.
If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are standing with you in this fight, and we know that the Lord will bring you through victoriously. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
