The Nation Kneeling
Prayer moves God to act in national crises and calls us to keep seeking His help together.
We join with you in bringing this request before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and find our help and hope.

We lift up your cry for protection and guidance and we stand on the promises of God's Word with you. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Psalm 32:8 He says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. For protection we cling to Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, and to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your divine protection over this dear one and all those with them. Cover them under Your wings, guard them from all harm and from the schemes of the enemy, and let no evil come near their dwelling. We ask for Your clear guidance in every step and every decision they face. Give them wisdom generously as You have promised, quiet their hearts from fear and confusion, and make Your path plain before them. Lead them by Your Holy Spirit, counsel them with Your eye upon them, and help them to acknowledge You in all their ways. We trust that You are their refuge and fortress and that You will direct their steps according to Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and our shelter. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Him daily through prayer and through reading His Word, for as you draw near to Him He will draw near to you and His peace will guard your heart. Keep trusting Him to be your guide and your protector in every season.

We hear the sincerity in your prayer for protection and guidance, and we are honored to join you in bringing it to the Lord. You are not alone in asking for this, we are praying with you and for you.

It is a comfort that we can bring both our need to be kept safe and our need for direction to the same place, to Jesus Himself. He is near to us in our daily concerns and He is also able to lead us when the path ahead feels unclear. Often His guidance comes step by step as we keep walking with Him, bringing each choice to Him and seeking His wisdom through prayer and through the counsel of trusted believers around us.

A simple practice that many find helpful when seeking direction is to set aside a few quiet minutes to pour out your heart before Him. You might name the specific areas where you most need protection or wisdom right now, ask Him for clarity for the next step, and then notice how He leads as you go. If you have a pastor or a mature Christian friend nearby, sharing those specific needs with them can also bring encouragement and perspective.

Father, we lift up this dear child of Yours to You now. We ask that You would watch over them and those they love, guard them, and give them wisdom for each decision before them. Help them to sense Your nearness today and to trust Your faithful leading one step at a time. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer for protection and guidance and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is no attribute more comforting to the child of God than Divine Sovereignty, for to know that the Lord alone does lead His people is to know that you are not left to chance or to your own wisdom. He who is your Divine Instructor guides not as a stranger but as a Father, and His wisdom comes dressed in robes of love and tenderness to invite you into His arms.

You ask for protection, and we are reminded that Divine interpositions still come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. Though the Lord may not always stay His hand from trial, He has promised that fire shall not burn you nor floods drown you when it is needful for your deliverance, for nothing upon earth can stand against the Divine will. What remarkable preservations we have enjoyed, not miraculous in the eyes of men, but full of wonder, and we can say with the Psalmist, He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears and my feet from falling.

You ask for guidance, and the Psalmist gives us the sure word, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. This guidance comes as you bow with submission to the Divine will, for the grace of God dethrones obstinacy and gives acquiescence in its place, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring direction. Seek earnestly the Divine grace to stand still in obedience to your Lord's behest. To stand still means to wait awhile upon Him, to avoid everything that is evil, to shun haste which is the author of so much mischief, and to trust that when your own power is dead, all the glory will be to God who stems the tremendous current by Divine energy.

The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God and it dissolves difficulties as the summer sun dissolves the glacier. May that Presence go over you and lead you in a Divine captivity of love, keeping you day and night.

We pray for you now, that the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, would cover you with His hand, restrain every blow that would harm you, guide you by His counsel through every dilemma, and bring you safely by His grace to glory. May He display His perfections in your life, causing what is dry to flourish by His dew, and lifting what is low even to the stars by His faithful husbandry.

We commit you to His gentleness and His strength, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it until the day of Christ. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for protection and guidance has been received with joy, and we join you in lifting it to the Lord Jesus. He is faithful to hear those who call upon Him, and He promises to be a shelter and a guide to all who trust in Him.

God in His love does not leave us to walk alone. When we turn our hearts toward Him and choose what is good, He then gives abundant help by His Spirit, so that we can walk in His ways with strength beyond our own. Keep seeking Him each day in prayer and in His Word, asking for wisdom, and He will make your path clear and guard your steps.

He also shows His care through the love we show to others, for every ability He gives, whether in protection, in kindness, in teaching or in service, is meant to be used for the good of our neighbor. As you seek His protection, look also for ways to be a help and comfort to those around you, and you will find His grace at work in you.

We pray with you now. Lord Jesus, we ask You to cover this life with Your protection, to keep away all harm, and to lead with Your wise and gentle guidance. Grant clarity in decisions, peace in times of uncertainty, and strength to follow You faithfully. Let Your presence be known each day, and draw this heart ever closer to You, for salvation and hope are found in You alone. Amen.

Your cry for protection and guidance goes straight to the heart of what prayer is. Every prayer is really a confession that we are poor and needy and cannot do it ourselves. That honesty is where God meets us.

The psalmist lifted his eyes to the hills and asked where his help would come from, and then he answered his own question. Help does not come from the hills, from circumstances, or from people. Vain is the help of man. Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. If He is great enough to create the heavens and the earth, He is certainly great enough to care for the small details of your life. The same Lord who made all things is the one who keeps you. He does not slumber or sleep, He will not let your foot slip, and He watches over you day and night.

Scripture also teaches that God places a hedge of protection around His people. That covering is found in the blood of Jesus Christ, and it is our place of victory against the work of the enemy. You can trust Him to be your keeper and your shelter as you call on Him.

You also asked for guidance, and that is a place where many of us struggle to know whether it is God speaking or our own heart speaking. The way to test guidance is by the Word of God. Does it agree with Scripture. God will never lead you contrary to what He has already said in His Word.

We often want to find a formula to fix ourselves, to try harder and do better on our own. But the honest place God brings us to is the end of self help, where we stop saying how can I change myself and start crying out who will deliver me. We need help from outside ourselves, and that Deliverer is Jesus Christ. God wants to help you, but He wants you to come with an open confession, Lord I cannot do this, I have no strength against this, please help me. When you come that way He works on your behalf and He receives the glory.

We are praying for you now that you will know His protection and His clear leading.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You. You see the need for protection and for guidance. We ask that You would be their help and their keeper, that You would cover them and keep their feet from slipping, and that You would make Your way plain before them. Lead them by Your Word, guard their heart from confusion, and give them peace as they trust in You who made heaven and earth. Help them to rest in Your care, knowing You do not slumber and You are always watching over them. In Jesus name, Amen.
