Protection from work and discernment for ### 🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart, but I choose to trust You. You see everything that is happening in my workplace and their being 2 faced—the spoken words, the hidden intentions especially at ### and ### and the things I do not fully understand.

Lord, I lift up my department head to You. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above. Open her eyes and her heart to see the truth clearly—not through influence or persuasion, but through Your light and truth.

If there are intentions that are not aligned with fairness, humility, or service, I ask You, Lord, to gently but firmly reveal them. Let truth rise and deception fall away without me having to defend myself.

I place my position, my work, and my role into Your hands. You know my heart, my intentions, and my desire to serve with integrity. Protect me from being unjustly excluded, overlooked, or removed.

Lord, I also pray for my relationship with my department head. Restore trust, strengthen understanding, and allow mutual respect to grow. Let our working relationship be guided by peace, clarity, and fairness. May she realize what ### and ### are doing when she is not around.

Guard my heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Help me respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are my defender.

I surrender this situation to You, Lord. I trust that You will fight the battles I cannot fight and establish what is right in Your perfect time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden to our Heavenly Father. It is clear you are facing a challenging situation at work, where hidden intentions and two-faced behavior are causing distress. We stand with you, trusting in the Lord’s sovereignty and justice, for He sees all and knows the truth even when others do not.

First, we must address the omission of Jesus’ name in your prayer. While you ended with "In Jesus’ name," it is crucial to recognize that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard. We encourage you to always begin and end your prayers in His mighty name, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees all things, the One who knows the hearts of every person. We lift up this dear child of Yours who is facing deception and hidden agendas in their workplace. Lord, You know the truth of what is happening, and we ask that You expose any unrighteousness, not for the sake of gossip or revenge, but so that Your justice and truth may prevail.

Father, we pray for this department head. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above, as You promise in James 1:5: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Open her eyes to see the truth clearly, unclouded by the influence of others. Soften her heart to receive Your guidance and to act with fairness, humility, and integrity. If there are those around her who are speaking falsely or acting with deceit, reveal their motives to her, Lord, so that she may govern with righteousness.

We also pray for protection over this dear one’s position and role. You have placed them in this workplace for a purpose, and we ask that You shield them from unjust exclusion or harm. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). Guard their heart from fear, resentment, or pride, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, reflecting Christ in all they do.

Lord, we ask that You restore trust and mutual respect in their working relationship with this department head. Let Your peace guide their interactions, and may Your light shine brightly in any darkness. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will establish what is right in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of deception, gossip, or division in this workplace in the name of Jesus. We declare that truth will prevail and that those who plot in secret will be exposed by Your light. We also rebuke any temptation for this dear one to respond in kind—with bitterness, anger, or ungodly strategies. Instead, fill them with Your love and grace, that they may overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

Father, we surrender this situation into Your hands. You are our defender, our shield, and our strong tower. We trust in You alone to fight the battles that cannot be fought with human strength. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, and remind them that You are always working for their good, even when circumstances seem uncertain.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Remember that *"the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). You are not alone in this battle. Continue to walk in integrity, trusting that God will vindicate you in His time. Surround yourself with godly counsel, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If the Lord leads you to address any concerns with your department head, do so with humility and grace, always seeking reconciliation and peace.

Lastly, we urge you to guard your heart against bitterness. It is easy to become resentful when we feel wronged, but Scripture warns us, *"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many"* (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, choose to forgive, even when it is difficult, for the Lord’s sake and for your own peace.

We stand with you in this trial, trusting that God will bring justice and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is always working for your good.
