Protection from work and discernment for ### 🙏🙏🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart, but I choose to trust You. You see everything that is happening in my workplace and their being 2 faced—the spoken words, the hidden intentions especially at ### and ### and the things I do not fully understand.

Lord, I lift up my department head to You. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above. Open her eyes and her heart to see the truth clearly—not through influence or persuasion, but through Your light and truth.

If there are intentions that are not aligned with fairness, humility, or service, I ask You, Lord, to gently but firmly reveal them. Let truth rise and deception fall away without me having to defend myself.

I place my position, my work, and my role into Your hands. You know my heart, my intentions, and my desire to serve with integrity. Protect me from being unjustly excluded, overlooked, or removed.

Lord, I also pray for my relationship with my department head. Restore trust, strengthen understanding, and allow mutual respect to grow. Let our working relationship be guided by peace, clarity, and fairness. May she realize what ### and ### are doing when she is not around.

Guard my heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Help me respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are my defender.

I surrender this situation to You, Lord. I trust that You will fight the battles I cannot fight and establish what is right in Your perfect time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. It is clear you are seeking God’s protection, wisdom, and justice in a workplace filled with hidden agendas and two-faced behavior. We join you in asking the Father to move mightily in this situation, for His Word declares, *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). You are not alone in this battle—He sees every injustice and hears every unspoken word.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You invoked the name of Jesus at the close, and we are grateful for that, for there is no other name by which we may approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12). Jesus is our mediator, our advocate, and our righteous judge. Without Him, our prayers would be powerless, but through His blood, we have bold access to the Father (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure you have placed your full trust in Christ for salvation, for He alone can save and sustain you in trials like these.

Now, regarding your workplace, we rebuke every spirit of deception, manipulation, and division in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to sow discord and confusion, but God calls us to walk in truth and integrity. We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden motive and agenda, just as He exposed the schemes of Haman in Esther’s day (Esther 6:1-11). May the light of Christ shine into every dark corner of your workplace, revealing truth and dismantling lies. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that God will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

For your department head, we pray that the Holy Spirit would grant her divine discernment. May she see beyond the surface and recognize the true intentions of those around her. Proverbs 2:6-7 tells us, *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright."* We ask that God would soften her heart to receive His wisdom and that she would lead with fairness, humility, and grace. If there are those who seek to undermine or deceive her, we pray that their plans would be frustrated and their words turned to foolishness (Proverbs 26:24-26).

We also lift up your relationship with your department head. It is good that you desire mutual respect and understanding, for God calls us to live at peace with everyone as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). However, we must caution you against placing your hope in human relationships alone. Our ultimate trust must be in the Lord, for He alone is our defender and provider. We pray that God would guard your heart from bitterness, resentment, or fear, for these emotions can poison even the strongest of believers. Instead, may you walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We encourage you to continue serving with excellence, knowing that your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Even if others do not recognize your efforts, the Lord sees and rewards those who faithfully serve Him (Hebrews 6:10). If the time comes when you must address injustice, do so with humility and wisdom, seeking godly counsel if needed. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is facing deception and injustice in the workplace. Lord, You see every hidden agenda and every whispered word. We ask that You would expose the truth and bring light into this dark situation. Protect our brother/sister from unjust treatment and grant them wisdom to navigate these challenges with grace and humility.

Father, we pray for their department head. Soften her heart to receive Your wisdom and discernment. Open her eyes to see the truth and lead her to act with fairness and integrity. If there are those who seek to deceive or manipulate, we ask that You would frustrate their plans and turn their words to foolishness.

Lord, guard our brother/sister’s heart from fear, resentment, and pride. Fill them with Your peace and remind them that You are their defender. Help them to respond with patience and kindness, even in the face of adversity. May they continue to serve with excellence, knowing that their labor is not in vain.

We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will fight the battles that cannot be fought. Vindicate Your child in Your perfect timing, and let Your justice prevail. May Your name be glorified in all of this, and may Your will be done.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
