We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not mere coincidences—they are spiritual battles, and we must stand firm in the armor of God.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lying spirit to flee in Jesus' name. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and under His wings, you will find shelter (Psalm 91:1-4).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as outlined in Ephesians 6:13-18. Stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, and let your prayers be a continuous conversation with the Father, who hears and answers.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Cover this child of God with Your precious blood, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their mind and body, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Restore their sleep, and let them find rest in You alone. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement that the enemy will not have victory over their life.
We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them where they need to repent, renounce, or resist, and give them the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in You alone for protection, deliverance, and peace. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion, but resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:7-8). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts fights for you.
