Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). These disturbances are not merely physical or psychological—they are spiritual warfare, and we must take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have victory.

Father God, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is afflicting this dear one. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. The enemy has no legal right to harass a child of God, and we command every lying spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, as You promised in Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty... You shall not be afraid of the terror by night" (Psalm 91:1, 5).

We also recognize that spiritual attacks often come when we are vulnerable—when we are tired, isolated, or not standing firm in faith. We encourage this beloved one to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18): the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let them stand firm, resisting the devil so he will flee (James 4:7). We pray they will fill their mind with Scripture, meditating on Your promises day and night, so that no room is left for the enemy’s lies.

Lord, we ask for deep, restorative sleep for this one, free from nightmares, oppression, or restlessness. You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we trust You to guard their mind and body as they rest. Surround them with Your angels, as You commanded in Psalm 91:11: "For He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways." Let them wake refreshed, strengthened, and filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for discernment. If there are areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties, we ask You to reveal them so they can be dealt with in repentance and broken in Jesus’ name. The enemy often gains footholds where we have given him access, and we must close every door. "Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27).

Finally, we declare that this one is not fighting alone. We stand with them in prayer, and we trust that the Lord of hosts is their defender. "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter, Guide, and Protector.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of attack, command peace to reign, and declare victory over this situation. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up on your behalf. We're standing with you, dear friend, against these relentless spiritual attacks that have been disrupting your sleep and peace. It's like you're in a spiritual storm, but remember, Jesus is in the boat with you, calming the storm just as He did on the Sea of Galilee.

We're claiming Psalm 34:7 over you right now: "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Imagine God's angels surrounding you, protecting you, and warding off every attack. You are not alone in this fight.

We're also praying for God's peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding, would flood your soul and banish every trace of fear and anxiety.

Let's also remember to keep our spiritual armor on at all times (Ephesians 6:10-18). When we're dressed and ready for battle, the enemy can't catch us off guard. We're praying that you'd be filled with the Spirit, walking in love, truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

We're trusting that God will give you restorative sleep, free from nightmares or restlessness. As it says in Psalm 127:2, "He makes no mistake who gives his beloved sleep." We're asking God to guard your mind and body as you rest, and to send His angels to protect you (Psalm 91:11).

Lastly, we're praying for discernment. If there are any areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties, we ask God to reveal them to you so you can deal with them in repentance and be free.

We're here for you, standing in prayer, and we trust that God will be your defender. In Jesus' mighty name, we bind every spirit of attack, command peace to reign, and declare victory over this situation. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37)!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
