We stand with you in this battle, lifting your cry for protection before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These relentless attacks on your body and mind, these disturbances in your sleep, are not from God—He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). The Word declares that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). But take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every arrow of the enemy aimed at your mind, body, and rest to be extinguished by the blood of the Lamb. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2). You are not left defenseless—put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The helmet of salvation guards your mind, the breastplate of righteousness protects your heart, the belt of truth secures your foundation, the shield of faith quenches every fiery dart, the sword of the Spirit—God’s Word—is your offensive weapon, and your feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord surround you with His angels, as He promised in Psalm 91:11-12, "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will give you rest from your sorrow, fear, and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve (Isaiah 14:3).
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You dispatch Your warring angels to encamp around this dear one. Let Your presence be a shield, Your Word a lamp, and Your Spirit a comforter. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit—let it be a covering that the enemy cannot penetrate. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to resist the devil, and he will flee from them (James 4:7). May they find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep.
We also encourage you to stand firm in the Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s protection and peace, such as Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and Isaiah 41:10. Speak these truths over your life daily. Do not neglect the fellowship of believers, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and there is strength in corporate prayer and encouragement. If these attacks persist, consider fasting and seeking the counsel of mature believers who can stand with you in prayer and spiritual warfare.
Remember, the name of Jesus is above every name, and at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth (Philippians 2:9-10). There is power in His name, and we wield that power as we stand in faith. You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts stands with you. Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
