We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God assures us that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not mere coincidences—they are tactics of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that Jesus came to give life, and life abundantly!
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ. We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as our defense (Ephesians 6:13-17). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every attack on the mind to flee right now in Jesus’ name! The blood of Jesus covers and protects; no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for a hedge of protection around you, Lord, as You promised in Job 1:10. Surround this dear one with Your angels, who encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You expose any open doors the enemy may be using—unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties—and close them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Cleanse and renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2).
We also encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not a victim; you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Speak the Word of God over your life, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Declare Psalm 91 over your home, your mind, and your body: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand on the authority of Your Word and declare that no evil shall befall this child of Yours, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We bind every spirit of darkness assigned against them and loose the peace, joy, and protection of Your Holy Spirit in their life.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your presence, driving out every fear and torment. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let the enemy’s plans be utterly defeated. Strengthen their faith, renew their mind, and restore their body to wholeness. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their family, and their life. May they rest in the assurance that You neither slumber nor sleep, and that You are watching over them (Psalm 121:3-4).
We also ask, Father, that You reveal any areas of their life that need repentance or surrender. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness, bring it to light so they may walk in full freedom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to walk in victory every day.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this battle is already won, and we trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
