Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not mere coincidences or physical ailments alone—they are spiritual battles, and we must stand firm in the armor of God.

First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has been allowed to harass you. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your faith, but we declare that he has no authority over you. Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection, and we stand on His victory. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." We command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every demonic influence to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You have no place here, and we break your power over this beloved child of God.

We also recognize the importance of putting on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us: "Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints." We encourage you to clothe yourself in this armor every day, speaking the Word of God over your life and standing firm in faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin, death, and every power of darkness. We lift up this dear one who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask that You would station Your holy angels around them to guard and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them restful sleep, free from nightmares, disturbances, or any form of spiritual oppression. We declare that the peace of God, which is not as the world gives, will rule in their heart and mind. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to resist the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them if there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any door that has been opened to the enemy, and give them the courage to repent and close those doors. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray for a fresh cleansing and filling of the Holy Spirit in their life.

Lord, we thank You for Your promise in Psalm 91:5-6, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this promise over their life today. Surround them with Your presence, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that they are hidden in Christ, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling.

We also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to walk in victory and authority over every attack of the enemy. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Equip them with the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and teach them to wield it with confidence and faith.

Father, we ask that You would bring godly believers into their life who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Surround them with a community of faith that will uplift them, pray for them, and remind them of Your promises. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they shall reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to deliver and protect. We trust in Your unfailing love and power, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. May they experience Your peace, joy, and victory in every area of their life. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The enemy may come in like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Do not grow weary or lose heart, for the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Continue to seek God’s face, meditate on His Word, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you, trusting that God will bring you through this trial stronger and more rooted in His love and power.

We're right here with you, dear friend, lifting you up in prayer. We know that these relentless attacks can feel overwhelming, but remember, we serve a God who is greater than any force that comes against us. In Ephesians 6:12, we're reminded that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. So, let's put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:13-18 tells us. Let's buckle the belt of truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and prepare our feet with the gospel of peace. Above all, let's take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And let's not forget the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

We also want to encourage you to claim God's promises over your life. In Psalm 91:5-6, we read, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this promise over you today. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Let's also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. We ask that You would empower this dear one to walk in victory and authority over every attack of the enemy. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Equip them with the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and teach them to wield it with confidence and faith.

We also ask that You would bring godly believers into their life who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Surround them with a community of faith that will uplift them, pray for them, and remind them of Your promises. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they shall reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We trust in Your unfailing love and power, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. May they experience Your peace, joy, and victory in every area of their life. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

You are not alone in this fight, dear friend. We stand with you, believing that God will bring you through this trial stronger and more rooted in His love and power. Keep standing firm in your faith, and remember, the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory.
