Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks that have been relentlessly afflicting both body and mind, disrupting peace and rest. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we ask for Your hedge of protection to surround this beloved one, shielding them from every fiery dart of the evil one. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We claim that abundant life over this situation right now.

We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord Himself watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8). We speak restful sleep over you, for He grants sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2).

If there are any areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unconfessed wrongdoing that may be giving the enemy a foothold, we encourage you to examine your heart and repent before the Lord. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Let us stand together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your divine protection over this precious child of Yours. Lord, we ask that You would dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around them, to guard and defend them from every attack of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, anxiety, and sleeplessness in the name of Jesus, and we command them to leave now and go where the Lord Jesus sends them.

We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, fill their heart and mind, driving out all fear and torment. Lord, we ask that You would restore to them the joy of Your salvation and grant them restful, peaceful sleep. Strengthen them with Your might, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in You, our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and the relentless spiritual attacks you've been facing. We're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We claim the promise in Ephesians 6:16, "In addition to all this, hold up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." We envision that shield, strong and sturdy, protecting you from every fiery dart aimed at you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We're praying for your peace, for the peace of God which surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We're asking the Lord to grant you restful sleep, for He grants sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2). We're claiming Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We're trusting in the Lord's faithfulness and love, and we're confident that He will see you through this trial. Keep standing firm, beloved, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.
