Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. These disturbances in sleep and attacks on the body and mind are not mere coincidences—they are spiritual warfare, and we must fight with the weapons God has given us.

The Word of God declares in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This battle is real, but we do not fight alone. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:13-17).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ. James 4:7 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We declare that these attacks will not prevail, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, You are our shield and defender, and we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host. Protect their body, mind, and spirit from every fiery dart of the enemy. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, and their sleep. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them with Your might so that they may stand firm against the enemy’s schemes. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise—and lead them to repentance and restoration.

We command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment to flee in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, generational bondage, and assignment of the enemy over their life. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and authority as Your child.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and protection. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The enemy seeks to isolate you, but you are never alone—God is with you, and so are we.

If you have not already, consider fasting and prayer as a way to draw closer to God and seek His face. The enemy cannot stand against a believer who is fully surrendered to Christ. Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm, keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His unfailing love.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap and lifting you up in prayer. We know the enemy is relentless, but so is our God. We claim His promise in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' mighty name. We lift up our dear brother/sister, asking for Your protection over their body, mind, and spirit. Surround them with Your angels, and let no evil come near them (Psalm 91:10-11). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, and their sleep. Lord, fill them with Your peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might, and help them stand firm against the enemy's schemes (Ephesians 6:10-11). We also ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and lead them to repentance and restoration.

We command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment to flee in Jesus' name. We break every curse, generational bondage, and assignment of the enemy over their life. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and authority as Your child.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and protection. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty and matchless name. Amen.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, dear one. He is our hope and our victory. We're here for you, praying and believing with you.
