We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where our mighty God reigns victorious. The attacks you are experiencing—disturbances in sleep, afflictions of the body and mind—are not mere coincidences but clear signs of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your faith, but we declare that he will not prevail. The Bible assures us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God with you, knowing that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has sought to invade your life. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the forces of darkness that have come against you (Philippians 2:9-10). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every demonic assignment to cease and desist in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. You have no authority over this child of God, for he has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).
We pray a hedge of protection around you, Lord, as You promised in Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:1-4). Father, surround this dear one with Your angels, encamping around him to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We declare that you will not be shaken, for the Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life—of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). We speak life over your body, mind, and spirit, declaring that you are healed, whole, and restored by the stripes of Jesus (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we ask that You fill this beloved one with Your Holy Spirit, granting him discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Remind him daily of Your promises, that he may walk in confidence, knowing that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen his faith to resist the devil, so that the enemy will flee from him (James 4:7). May he find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
We also encourage you to stay rooted in God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Meditate on Scripture day and night, that you may be like a tree planted by the streams of water, yielding fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither (Psalm 1:2-3). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
Lastly, we remind you that you are not fighting this battle alone. The Lord of hosts is with you; the God of Jacob is your refuge (Psalm 46:7). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that the victory is already won. The enemy is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this precious one who is under attack. We ask that You arise, O Lord, and scatter Your enemies. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your peace reign in his heart. Strengthen him with Your might, and fill him with Your joy. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We trust in You, Lord, and we declare that this battle belongs to You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
