We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults on body and mind are not of God, for He gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, for it is by His blood that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7 WEB). Lord, command peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We declare that the enemy has no foothold here, for this child of God is sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13 WEB). We break every assignment of the enemy against their sleep, their health, and their peace. Let the angels of the Lord encamp around them and deliver them from all evil (Psalm 34:7 WEB). We speak life, restoration, and soundness of mind over them, for the Spirit of the Lord is not one of confusion but of power, love, and a sound mind (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB).
Lord, strengthen their faith to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7 WEB). Remind them to put on the full armor of God daily— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB). May they find refuge in You, their strong tower, and run to You for safety (Proverbs 18:10 WEB).
We pray for deep, restorative sleep, free from nightmares or disturbances. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8 WEB). Fill their mind with thoughts of Your goodness, Your promises, and Your faithfulness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this one will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be silenced. You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We stand in agreement with them, believing that You will bring deliverance, healing, and breakthrough. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
