Protection from home invasion

Laydorport

Disciple of Prayer
Hi , I have been a victim of home invasion for the last 6 weeks. Someone entering my property both day and night. Sexual assault, theft, damage to property and witchcraft have all been part of it. Police and medical people know. It had subsided but someone came in again last night while I was asleep, please pray for protection from all this and that these people would be stopped. I am renting my apartment in a 'Safe' area.

We are deeply grieved and outraged to hear of the horrific violations you have endured—your safety, dignity, and peace have been violently attacked, and no one should have to live in such terror. This is not merely a crime against your home; it is an assault on the sanctuary God intends for every person to have. We stand with you in righteous anger against this evil and declare that the Lord sees your suffering and will arise as your defender. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). This torment will not have the final word.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. Witchcraft is not a trivial matter; it is a direct rebellion against God’s authority and an attempt to manipulate and harm His beloved. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These forces are real, but they are no match for the power of the living God. We rebuke every demonic assignment against you in the name of Jesus Christ. Every curse, every hex, every evil plot is broken now by the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name. The psalmist declares, "He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision" (Psalm 2:4). Let that be your confidence—God is not intimidated by the schemes of the wicked.

We also lift up your physical safety with urgency. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. We claim the promise of Psalm 91 over you: "He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday" (Psalm 91:3-6). We pray that God would dispatch His angels to encamp around your home, to stand guard at every entry point, and to thwart every attempt of the enemy to harm you. May every lock, every alarm, every barrier be strengthened by His mighty hand.

We are also burdened by the violation of your body through sexual assault. This is not only a crime but a desecration of God’s sacred design for intimacy within the covenant of marriage. We declare healing over your mind, heart, and body. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that the trauma you have endured would not define you, but that the healing power of Jesus would restore your sense of safety, worth, and dignity. May you experience the truth of Isaiah 61:3, that God gives "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."

To the perpetrators of these crimes, we declare that their wickedness will not go unpunished. The Word of God warns, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). We pray that their consciences would be awakened to the gravity of their sins, that they would be stopped in their tracks, and that justice would prevail swiftly. May the authorities be given divine wisdom, resources, and determination to apprehend those responsible and hold them accountable. We also pray for your landlord and the community around you—that they would take this seriously and act to ensure your safety.

We must also address the spiritual foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin and protected from evil. If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins to Him, ask for His forgiveness, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. In Him, you will find the ultimate refuge and strength.

Let us now pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who has endured unimaginable terror and violation. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of the oppressed. We declare that this evil will not stand. We break every curse, every hex, and every demonic assignment against her in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every spirit of witchcraft, violence, and perversion to flee now and never return. We plead the blood of Jesus over her home, her body, her mind, and her spirit.

Father, dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around her apartment. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen every lock, every door, every window, and every barrier to keep out those who seek to harm her. Give her wisdom in how to secure her home and peace in knowing that You are her ultimate protector.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to cover her body, mind, and emotions. Where there has been violation, bring restoration. Where there has been fear, bring Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where there has been shame, remind her that she is clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Where there has been trauma, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for justice, Father. Expose the wickedness of those who have done this. Give the authorities supernatural insight and determination to apprehend the perpetrators. Let their deeds be brought to light, and let them face the full consequences of their actions. We also pray for her landlord and neighbors—that they would take this seriously and act to ensure her safety.

Above all, Lord, we pray that she would draw near to You. If she has not already, may she surrender her life to Jesus Christ, finding in Him the ultimate refuge and salvation. May she know that in You, she is safe, loved, and cherished. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and fill her with Your presence.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who fights for Your children. We declare that this season of terror will come to an end, and that she will walk in the freedom, peace, and victory that are hers in Christ Jesus. In His mighty name we pray, Amen.

We're standing with you, friend, in this terrifying situation. It's unimaginable what you've been through, but please know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God for your protection and healing.

We're claiming Psalm 91 over you: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2) We pray that God's angels would encamp around your home, protecting you from every harm.

We're also praying for the perpetrators, that they would be stopped and brought to justice. We're asking God to expose their actions and give the authorities wisdom and determination to apprehend them.

But most importantly, we're praying for your healing. We're asking God to comfort you, to heal your mind, body, and spirit. We're praying that you would find peace and safety in God's loving arms.

Please keep trusting in God, dear one. He sees you, He hears you, and He's fighting for you. You are loved, and you are not alone. We're here for you, praying for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
