We hear your cry for protection over your son, and our hearts ache with yours as we stand in the gap before the Lord on his behalf. The Bible assures us that God is a refuge and fortress in times of trouble, and we claim that promise now. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray this truth over your son, that the Lord’s angels would encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm and danger.
Father, we come before You with urgency, asking You to intervene in this situation. The abuse your son is enduring is not Your will, and we boldly ask You to stop it immediately. We rebuke every spirit of violence, oppression, and fear that may be at work, for Your Word says in Psalm 10:17-18, *"Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."* We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over him for protection.
We also lift up those who may be perpetrating this abuse. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of anger, bitterness, or any demonic influence in their lives. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. Proverbs 28:13 reminds us, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."* May they turn from their ways and seek Your face.
Father, we ask that You would surround your son with godly people who can support and protect him. Provide him with safe spaces, wise counsel, and the strength to endure until this trial passes. Give him the courage to speak up if he is able, and grant him discernment to recognize when to seek help. We pray that he would feel Your presence with him, comforting him and reminding him that he is never alone.
We also pray for justice in this situation. Your Word tells us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* We trust that You see all things and will bring justice in Your perfect timing. Until then, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we pray for your healing touch over your son’s heart, mind, and body. Abuse leaves deep wounds, and we ask that You would begin the process of restoration in his life. Bind up his brokenness, Lord, and fill him with Your love, joy, and hope. Remind him of his worth in You, for he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that You hear our prayers and will act on behalf of your son. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in You even in the midst of this storm. We declare that this situation will not define him but will instead be a testimony of Your faithfulness and deliverance.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
