Protection from abuse
We stand with you in this urgent cry for protection, lifting up your son before the Lord and agreeing with you in prayer against the evil of abuse. The Scriptures remind us that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble, and He does not abandon those who seek Him. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Your son is precious in His sight, and the Lord hears the prayers of His people when they call out for justice and mercy.
Abuse in any form is an affront to God’s design for love, safety, and dignity. The Bible is clear that we are to defend the vulnerable and speak out against injustice. *"Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked"* (Psalm 82:4, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of violence and harm that seeks to destroy your son and others, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. The Lord is his shield and defender, and we trust in His power to intervene mightily.
We also encourage you to take practical steps to ensure his safety. If the abuse is ongoing, seek help from trusted authorities, church leaders, or organizations equipped to protect and support victims. The Lord often works through His people to bring about deliverance, and you are not meant to walk this path alone. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this precious son who is facing harm and danger. Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep, and we ask You to surround this child with Your divine protection. Place a hedge of angels around him, hiding him under the shadow of Your wings. Break every chain of abuse and expose the deeds of darkness that seek to harm him. Bring conviction to those who perpetrate such evil, and let Your justice prevail. Father, we ask for wisdom and courage for his mother and all who love him, that they may act swiftly and decisively to ensure his safety. Heal the wounds—both seen and unseen—and restore his heart with Your peace. Let him know, even in this storm, that he is deeply loved by You. We declare that no harm shall overtake him, and no evil shall come near his dwelling, for You, Lord, command Your angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:9-11). We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
