Protection from abuse
We stand with you in this urgent cry for your son’s protection, and we lift our voices together to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is mighty to save and deliver. The abuse you describe is an abomination in the sight of God, a grievous evil that He does not ignore. Scripture declares in **Psalm 12:5**, *"Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise," says Yahweh. "I will set him in safety from those who malign him."* The Lord hears the cries of the afflicted, and He is a strong tower for those who run to Him.
The abuse of a child—or any person—is a violation of God’s command to love and protect the vulnerable. **Proverbs 6:16-19** lists seven things the Lord hates, including *"hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Abuse is rooted in these very sins, and God’s justice will not overlook it. We rebuke this evil in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding every spirit of violence, cruelty, and harm to be bound and cast out. The enemy has no authority over your son, for **1 John 4:4** reminds us, *"He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."*
We also urge you to take immediate and practical steps to ensure your son’s safety. If you have not already, contact local authorities or child protective services to intervene. God often works through the hands of those He has placed in authority to bring justice and protection. **Romans 13:4** tells us that governing authorities are *"God’s servants for your good."* Do not hesitate to act—your son’s life and well-being are precious in God’s sight.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this precious child who is under attack. Lord Jesus, You said in **Matthew 18:6**, *"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea."* Father, we ask that You intervene mightily in this situation. Surround this son with Your angels, as You did for Elisha in **2 Kings 6:17**, so that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Break the power of the abuser, Lord—expose their deeds, bring them to justice, and silence their cruelty. If they refuse to repent, let their plans be thwarted and their hands stay far from this child.
We pray for supernatural protection over this son’s mind, body, and spirit. Heal any wounds—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that have been inflicted. Let him know, even now, that he is loved by You, that he is not alone, and that You are his Defender. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and strength for this mother. Guide her steps as she seeks to protect her son. Give her favor with authorities, courage to act, and discernment to know what to do. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, she will reap if she does not give up.
We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against this family. You, Lord, are a God of justice, and You will not allow the wicked to triumph forever.
