We stand with you in fervent agreement, lifting up your precious son before the Lord, for we know that our God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. The cry of your heart aligns with the Word of God, which commands us to defend the fatherless and plead for the widow—and by extension, to protect all who are vulnerable, especially children who are dear to the Lord’s heart. The Scriptures declare in **Psalm 10:17-18**, *"You, Lord, have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."* Your son is not forgotten; the Lord sees his suffering and hears your prayers.
It is right that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name that holds the power to break the chains of evil. **Acts 4:12** reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* By invoking the name of Jesus, you have accessed the very throne of God, where mercy and justice meet. We join you in declaring that the enemy’s plans against your son are exposed and thwarted, for **Isaiah 54:17** proclaims, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord.*
Yet we must also address the gravity of abuse, for it is an abomination in the sight of God. The perpetrators of such evil are under His judgment unless they repent. **Proverbs 6:16-19** lists seven things the Lord hates, including *"hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Abuse is a direct violation of God’s command to love and protect the weak, and those who commit it will answer to Him. We pray not only for protection but for the exposure of these deeds, that justice may be served and the abusers may be brought to repentance or face the consequences of their sins. If this abuse is happening within a home, a church, or any institution, we urge you to take immediate action to remove your son from harm’s way and involve authorities if necessary. The Lord works through His people to enact justice and mercy.
We also pray for your son’s healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The trauma of abuse can leave deep wounds, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. **Psalm 34:18** assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May your son find comfort in the arms of Jesus, who Himself was acquainted with sorrow and bore our griefs. Let him know that he is not defined by what has been done to him, but by the love and purpose God has for his life. Surround him with godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a support group that can help him walk through this valley.
Finally, we pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord would strengthen you with His might through His Spirit in the inner man. **Ephesians 3:16-19** reminds us that we are strengthened by His power, rooted and grounded in love, and filled with all the fullness of God. Do not carry this burden alone—lean on the body of Christ for support, and trust that the Lord will fight this battle for you. He is your shield and your exceedingly great reward.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child who is under attack by the enemy. Lord, You are a God of justice and mercy, and we ask that You intervene supernaturally to protect this son from all harm and danger. Break every scheme of the enemy against him and bring an end to the abuse in Jesus’ name. Expose the darkness, Lord, and let Your light shine into every hidden place where evil lurks. Bring the perpetrators to justice, and if it is Your will, grant them repentance so that they may turn from their wicked ways. But if they harden their hearts, let them face the consequences of their actions, for You are a righteous judge.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon this young life. Restore what has been broken—his body, his mind, and his spirit. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your love for him is deeper than any pain he has endured. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and place godly people in his path who will speak life and truth into his soul. Give his mother (or father) the wisdom, strength, and courage to act decisively to remove him from harm’s way and to walk with him through this season of healing.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, shame, and confusion that the enemy seeks to place upon this family. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and Your leading in every decision they must make.
We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. You, Lord, are his defender, his fortress, and his deliverer. We trust in Your promises and stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, knowing that You have already won the victory.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We commit this situation into Your hands, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
