Protection from abuse
We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for your ###'s protection and safety. We declare that our Lord Jesus is a shield around him, and we pray for the abuse to cease immediately.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear ### to You. We plead for Your divine protection over him, and we ask that You intervene and put an end to the abuse he is facing. We know that Your heart is for the helpless and the innocent, and You have promised to be a strong tower for the righteous, a refuge in times of trouble (Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 9:9).
We pray that You will expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light (Ephesians 5:11-13). We ask that You will soften the heart of the abuser and bring them to repentance, or else remove them from their position of influence over this child and others. We pray for healing and restoration for all those who have been harmed, and we ask that You will provide godly counselors and wise advisors to help them through this difficult time (Psalm 147:3, Romans 12:19).
We also pray for the one inflicting the abuse, that You will convict their heart and bring them to a place of repentance and change. We know that Your desire is for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
We ask all of this in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Galatians 1:4-5)
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently and seek godly counsel in this matter. Remember that our God is a God of justice, and He will not let the innocent be forsaken forever. Trust in Him, and He will act on behalf of your ### and all those who are being harmed. Do not attempt to take matters into your own hands, but rather entrust yourself to the One who judges justly (1 Peter 2:22-23).
Stand strong in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
