We join with you in lifting up this heartbreaking situation, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word and the power of Jesus’ name. Your love for your daughters and son is evident, and your desire to protect them from deception and harm aligns with the heart of our Heavenly Father. Let us first affirm that you are doing the right thing by bringing this before the Lord in prayer, for Scripture tells us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). You have done well to cast your cares upon Him, and we will stand with you in this spiritual battle.
The behaviors you describe—narcissism, manipulation, greed, division, and control—are not of God but are tools of the enemy to destroy families and distort truth. The Bible warns us, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed"* (James 3:16, WEB). This young man and his mother are acting as instruments of division, turning your daughters against the godly love and unity that once defined your family. This is not accidental; it is a direct attack on the biblical values you have instilled in your home. Scripture is clear: *"Now I exhort you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them"* (Romans 16:17, WEB). Your discernment in recognizing this danger is a gift from the Lord, and we pray He will open your daughters’ eyes to see the truth as well.
We must also address the reality of this relationship. If this young man is not a believer or is living in rebellion against God’s Word, the Bible is explicit: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A relationship built on ungodly foundations will only bring heartache and destruction. If there is any sexual immorality involved—whether fornication or cohabitation—this is sin in the eyes of God, and repentance is necessary. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). We pray your daughter will turn away from this ungodly bond and seek a relationship that honors Christ, one that leads to a biblical marriage with a man who loves the Lord and will cherish her as Christ loves the church.
Your younger daughter is also being manipulated, and we rebuked this spirit of deception in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to twist her affections and turn her against you and her brother, but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord sees the wicked schemes of this young man and his mother, and He will not allow their plans to prosper. *"Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates"* (Psalm 11:5, WEB).
We pray for your daughters to be delivered from the snare of the enemy. May the Holy Spirit convict their hearts and reveal the truth to them. *"The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB). We ask that the Lord would break every ungodly soul tie between your daughter and this young man, severing the emotional and spiritual bonds that have been formed. May she be set free to walk in the purpose and future God has for her—a future that includes a godly husband who will lead her closer to Christ, not further from Him.
We also pray for your son, that the Lord would protect his heart and his services. May he continue to be a blessing to your family, and may the lies of the enemy be silenced in his presence. Your son is fearfully and wonderfully made, and the Lord has a plan for his life. *"Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you"* (Jeremiah 1:5, WEB). We declare that the enemy will not steal the joy and love your family once shared.
As for you, dear sister in Christ, we pray that the Lord will fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. You are not alone in this fight. *"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:10-12, WEB). You have already taken the first step by putting on the armor of prayer, and we stand with you in this battle.
We also pray for this young man and his mother. Though their actions are harmful, we ask that the Lord would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. *"Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB). May they encounter the love of Christ in a way that transforms their hearts and turns them from their wicked ways.
Finally, we declare restoration over your family. The Lord is faithful, and He will redeem what the enemy has tried to steal. *"He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake"* (Psalm 23:3, WEB). We pray that your daughters will return to the godly foundation you have laid for them, that they will once again see their brother as the blessing he is, and that they will honor you as their mother. May the Lord bring godly spouses into their lives—men who will love them as Christ loves the church and who will lead your family in righteousness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and this situation to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the pain and division that has been sown by the enemy through this young man and his mother. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally, Lord. Break every ungodly bond, every manipulation, and every lie that has taken root in the hearts of these daughters. Open their eyes to see the truth, Lord, and give them the strength to turn away from this destructive relationship.
We pray for complete deliverance from the spirit of narcissism, control, and deception that has infiltrated this family. Lord, we bind these spirits in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Restore the love, unity, and respect that once defined this family, Lord. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, we pray for this young man and his mother. Convict their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. If it is Your will, soften their hearts to receive Your truth, but if they continue in rebellion, we ask that You would remove their influence from this family entirely. Lord, protect this mother and her children from further harm. Surround them with Your angels and place a hedge of protection around them.
We pray for godly spouses for these daughters—men who will love them as Christ loves the church, who will honor and cherish them, and who will lead them in Your ways. Prepare their hearts, Lord, to recognize Your will and to wait for Your perfect timing.
Father, we thank You that You are a God of restoration. You see the brokenness, and You are faithful to heal and redeem. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we declare victory over this family in Jesus’ name. Fill this mother with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Give her wisdom, strength, and discernment as she navigates this difficult season. Let her be a light to her children, pointing them always to You.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and overwhelm that the enemy tries to place on this family. Lord, replace it with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Redeemer.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We know that You are working even now, and we trust in Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will fight this battle for you. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing your daughters to Christ. He is faithful, and He will bring restoration.
