We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for your daughter. Father, we ask that You would indeed expose every lie, distortion, and manipulation that has taken root in her life through this young man. Your Word declares, *"The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy"* (Proverbs 12:22). We rebuke the spirit of deception and gaslighting in Jesus' name, for You are the God of truth, and no darkness can stand in Your light.
Lord, we are deeply concerned by the mention that this relationship has turned her *away* from her faith, purposeful work, and supportive family. This is not Your will. Scripture warns, *"Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character'"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that You would sever any ungodly soul ties and restore her to the path of righteousness. Break every chain of emotional control and confusion, for *"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom"* (2 Corinthians 3:17). We declare that her mind, heart, and spirit will no longer be held captive by these lies.
Father, we ask that You would open her eyes to the truth of this toxic relationship. Give her discernment to see the manipulation for what it is, and grant her the courage to walk away. Your Word says, *"The truth will set you free"* (John 8:32). We pray that she would return to You, to her family, and to the purpose You have for her life. Surround her with godly influences who will speak life and wisdom into her.
We also lift up this young man before You. If he is unrepentant in his deception, we ask that You would bring conviction to his heart. If he is unwilling to change, we pray that You would remove him from her life completely. Your Word warns, *"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). We trust that You will protect her from further harm.
Lord, we declare that clarity will return to her mind, that her faith will be strengthened, and that she will walk in the light of Your truth once again. We pray for healing from any emotional wounds this relationship has caused, and we ask that You would restore her joy, her purpose, and her relationship with You. May she find her identity in Christ alone, for *"if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We stand on the promise that *"no weapon forged against [her] will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
