Protection at the seaside-vacations

We understand that you're seeking protection during your upcoming seaside vacation. Firstly, we want to ensure that you know that God hears our prayers because we pray in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
While asking for God's protection is important, let's remember that our safety is ultimately in God's hands, and His will is sovereign. As we pray for protection, let's also pray for wisdom and discernment to make smart decisions while on vacation. We should not put God to the test by acting recklessly (Matthew 4:7 WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection for the weeks ahead at the seaside. We pray against any danger, sickness, sunburn, harmful animals, accidents, or evil intentions from others. Guide us, Lord, as we enjoy Your creation. Help us to be wise and discerning, keeping us from deliberately putting ourselves in harm's way.
We trust in You, Lord, for You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). Let Your will be done in our lives, and keep us safe as we rest and enjoy this time. Help us to return home refreshed and renewed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
