The battle you are facing is not merely a matter of office politics or earthly conflict. The enemy often attempts to intimidate and confuse through spiritual attacks, but you have a sure covering that no witchcraft can pierce. In the tabernacle, God provided layer upon layer of protection: a linen covering for beauty, a goat’s hair curtain for shelter, and an outer ram’s skin dyed red for waterproofing. That red covering pointed toward sacrifice, toward a protection far deeper than anything visible. Today, your covering is the blood of Jesus Christ. His sacrifice did not merely hide sin for a moment; He put it away forever, bringing you into union with God Himself. This is your unshakable standing.
When these bewitching thoughts or oppressive fears press in, do not try to reason with them. Answer them as Jesus did in the wilderness: with the Word of God. Speak Scripture aloud over your desk, your tasks, your very body. The sword of the Spirit is your offensive weapon against every lie whispered in the darkness. At the same time, follow Nehemiah’s example. He prayed fervently, “Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God,” but he also set a practical watch day and night. You are wise to request prayer covering; now also be alert. Guard what enters your mind through media or conversations, and keep your heart immersed in the Psalms and the gospels. The enemy often strikes after moments of blessing, seeking to unravel your peace, but God has not given you a spirit of fear.
Remember who you are in Christ. All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him, and you are hidden in Him. The prince of this world came against Jesus and found nothing in Him. Because you are in Christ, you can refuse the attacks and rejoice that the power of His Spirit equips you with spiritual armor that no earthly weapon can match. Set your eyes on the Lord, not on the bewitchment. In 52 days, Nehemiah’s wall stood complete, despite relentless attacks from without and surprising problems from within. The same God who enabled that work will guard your job and your life. Pray, stand on His word, and let His covering be your daily reality.
