We lift up this precious soul to You, Father, with heavy hearts, knowing the torment and confusion he is experiencing. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will indeed guard his heart and mind tonight.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every negative behavior, spiritual attack, and obsessive habit to flee gently and forever, as You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over him, his mind, his body, and his surroundings, knowing that the blood of Your Son cleanses us from all sin and protects us from the enemy (1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11).
We pray for a supernatural calm to saturate his being, that he may find rest and peace in Your loving arms. Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We claim this promise for him tonight, asking that You bless him with a restful, calm, and contented night, free from all anxiety, fear, PTSD memories, nightmares, torment, restlessness, or confusion.
Father, we ask that You fill every room, every corner, every door, and every window of their home with Your supernatural protection and presence. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray for his caregivers as well, asking that You anoint them with rest, wisdom, patience, and compassion, so they may continue to provide the care and support he needs.
Lord, wrap Your love around him tonight like a warm blanket, giving him a supernatural calm, relaxed, obedient, and joyful spirit as he sleeps. May he wake up refreshed, happy, and filled with Your peace. We thank You for the miracles You are doing in his life and for the healing and restoration that is taking place.
We also want to gently remind all who read this that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Together, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal, restore, and protect. We ask that You touch this dear one with Your healing hands, bringing peace to his mind, body, and spirit. We rebuke every spirit of torment and confusion, commanding them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over him, his caregivers, and their home, asking for Your supernatural protection and presence to fill every space.
Lord, we ask that You saturate his being with Your peace, filling him with comfort, confidence, and gentle, Godly habits. Help him to sleep deeply, peacefully, and safely, feeling Your love, acceptance, protection, and security. We pray for his caregivers, that You would grant them rest, wisdom, patience, and compassion as they care for him.
Father, we thank You for the miracles You are doing in his life and for the healing and restoration that is taking place. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
