Protection and Freedom

Lord, I ask that You would surround my older daughter with Your protection. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that she is never alone. Provide for her needs, open promotion for her at her employment, and give her favor in all that she does. My daughter is in a toxic ungodly relationship with this rebellious young man who she is living with outside of marriage. Show my daughter that living with this young man outside of marriage does not make him her husband. Jesus stop her from idolizing and obeying him. He is not ready for marriage and is exploiting her finances for his benefit only and has created chaos and division in her life and relationship with You and her family, I ask that You would sever these ties and lead her to relationships that honor You. I pray that his mother will stop enabling and encouraging his negative behaviors toward my daughter and our family and I ask Lord that his father will see how he is exploiting her finances and have him move back home alone swiftly. I pray that my daughter will stop obeying this young man and not tolerate him disrespecting her or her parents and her siblings anymore. Jesus restore her thankfulness for her supportive family You blessed her with. I pray that you will guide her to follow the biblical teachings and to live in peaceful and respectful life once more and not in this divisive, hardship and chaotic life she is in right now. This young man's hatred toward our family, he isolates her from family and creates heartache and torment daily. Father, I declare that she is coming home not in shame, but in peace; not in fear, but in Your perfect love. We welcome her back with open arms, just as You welcome us when we return to You. Heal her heart, restore her mind, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Let her know that she is deeply loved, deeply valued, and deeply cherished by You and by her family.

We lift up your precious daughter before the throne of grace, interceding with heavy hearts for her protection, deliverance, and restoration. Father, we stand in the gap for her, declaring Your promises over her life. We ask that You surround her with Your heavenly host, shielding her from every scheme of the enemy. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, reminding her that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Provide for her every need according to Your riches in glory, open doors of promotion at her workplace, and grant her favor in all that she does, so that her steps may be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23).

Heavenly Father, we must address the grave concern of her living in sin with this young man outside of marriage. Your Word is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). This relationship is not only displeasing to You but is also a snare that has entangled her heart and mind. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and idolatry that has taken root in her life, causing her to place this man above You and the family You have blessed her with. We declare that this man is not her husband, nor is he a godly leader, but rather a stumbling block that has led her away from Your will. Jesus, break the chains of emotional and financial exploitation that bind her. Sever these ungodly ties and uproot every lie that has taken hold in her heart, replacing them with Your truth.

We pray specifically against the enabling behaviors of this young man’s mother and the passivity of his father. Lord, open their eyes to the harm they are perpetuating. Convict their hearts and lead them to take action that aligns with Your will. May the father see the exploitation of your daughter’s finances and intervene swiftly, requiring his son to move back home alone, so that she may be freed from this toxic cycle. We declare that she will no longer tolerate disrespect toward herself, her parents, or her siblings. Restore in her a spirit of gratitude for the family You have given her, and let her see the contrast between the chaos of this relationship and the peace that comes from walking in Your ways.

Father, we stand on the promise of Your Word: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict her of the sin in her life and draw her back to You with a repentant heart. We declare that she is coming home—not in shame, but in the peace that surpasses all understanding; not in fear, but in the perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We welcome her back with open arms, just as You welcome us when we return to You, for You are the Father who runs to meet the prodigal (Luke 15:20). Heal her heart, restore her mind, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Let her know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she is deeply loved, deeply valued, and deeply cherished by You and by her family.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for you, her parent, as you navigate this painful situation. May you be filled with the peace of Christ, which guards your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and may you be guided by the Holy Spirit in every word and action. We ask that You would soften her heart to receive the truth and that she would turn away from this ungodly relationship, embracing the life of peace, respect, and obedience to Your Word that You desire for her.

Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You and the power to overcome every stronghold. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every spirit of division, chaos, and strife that has been sown into her life. We plead the blood of Jesus over her, her family, and this situation, and we trust in Your power to bring about complete restoration. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We have been lifting your precious daughter before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with you for her protection, freedom, and restoration. We have prayed fervently that she would feel the tangible presence of God surrounding her, reminding her that she is never alone. We asked the Lord to meet every one of her needs, to open doors for promotion at her workplace, and to grant her favor in all she does.

We have also prayed with heavy hearts for the toxic relationship she is in, asking the Lord to reveal the truth to her—that living with this young man outside of marriage does not make him her husband, and that her obedience belongs to Christ alone. We pleaded with God to break the chains of idolatry and exploitation, asking Him to sever these ungodly ties and lead her into relationships that honor Him. We prayed for conviction in the hearts of this young man’s parents, that they would cease enabling his harmful behavior and that his father would see the financial exploitation taking place and act swiftly to remove him from her life.

We have asked the Lord to soften your daughter’s heart so that she no longer tolerates disrespect toward herself, her parents, or her siblings. We declared over her life that she would return home—not in shame, but in peace; not in fear, but in the perfect love of God. We prayed for healing in her heart, restoration in her mind, and a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that she would know how deeply loved, valued, and cherished she is by her Heavenly Father and by her family.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue standing with you in prayer, pressing in until God’s perfect will is fully manifested in her life.
