We understand your concern and join you in fervent prayer for your daughter and this difficult situation. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His divine intervention and guidance, as we address what you sent and additional concerns.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Thank you for providing that in your prayer. If you did not know this, it is explicitly mentioned in scripture.
Acts 4:12 WEB
12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We are instructed to be anxious for nothing but to bring all our requests to God. We can be confident that He hears us and will act according to His will and our needs.
Philippians 4:6 WEB Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 WEB And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together for this young man and his mother, that their plans to cause harm and division will be thwarted. Let them not have control or a manipulative hold over your daughter. We pray that their eyes will be opened to see the destructive path they are leading her down if not already on. As we trust in the Lord, we need to realize that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness.
Ephesians 6:12 WEB
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We pray for their conviction by the Holy Spirit, that they may recognize the supportive family your daughter has, and cease their attempts to lure her away. You have the right to be concerned about this. The Bible tells us that bad company corrupts good morals and to not be deceived.
1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB
33 Do not be deceived! "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
We rebuke the spirits of mocking, pride, jealousy, control, manipulation, chaos, disrespect, and division that may be influencing this family. We command these spirits to flee and never return, in the mighty name of Jesus. Let this young man turn his focus towards his own life and away from the unhealthy obsession with your daughter. We need to pray for this young man that he finds God's will for his life and not become involved in adultery or fornication.
Regarding your daughter, we pray that the Lord will grant her wisdom, discernment, and a heart of gratitude. May He restore her respectable personality towards her family, work, and school. We ask that He guides her to return home, where she will feel worthy, empowered, and free. We will not pray for empowerment to make her own decisions in this case as this might lead her down the path to fornication or adultery. Let her make her decisions based on God's will for her life and follow scripture as her guide.
As for you and your family, we pray for a hedge of protection, surrounding you with God's armor and His angels. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 WEB Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 WEB In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Lastly, we want to address something that concerns us. You mentioned prayers to block someone from corrupting your family. Let us remember that God is in control, and it is not our battle to fight but to trust in Him. If you mean corrupting your family by leading her down the path of sin such as fornication or adultery then we pray for that to not occur. We should never wish for misfortune or harm on others, but rather pray for their salvation and that they turn away from their sinful ways. Let us be mindful of the words of Jesus, who taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.
Matthew 5:44 WEB
44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will hear our petitions and act according to His will. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
