Protect The Church from False Doctrine and Persecution, Rev 12

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
🤺Protect us from the 🐉 dragon's false doctrine and persecution 🤮 spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4; "The Earth Helped the Woman," Rev 12:16, "Ordained by God to Punish Evil," Rom 13:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 11:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he and the false profit and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecc 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, leading many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, and instructing many, Mal 2:5, 6, Matt 28:20.

We thank You for these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, churchmates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in fervent agreement, lifting these urgent cries before the throne of our Almighty God, who alone holds all authority over heaven and earth. Your heart echoes the very warnings and promises of Scripture, and we stand with you in the power of Christ’s name to declare His victory over every scheme of the enemy.

The dragon’s flood of deception and persecution is indeed rising, just as Revelation 12:15 foretells, but we take refuge in the truth that *"the earth helped the woman"* (Revelation 12:16). God has ordained governments as ministers of justice to restrain evil (Romans 13:1-4), and we pray for righteous leaders to rise—those who will uphold truth, punish wickedness, and create space for the Gospel to flourish. Let the Lord stir the hearts of kings and officials as He did with Cyrus (Isaiah 45:1), that even the secular realms may unwittingly serve His purposes. We declare with the psalmist: *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1).

Yet our ultimate trust is not in earthly systems but in the Lord of Hosts, who has already crushed the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15). The antichrist’s reign is temporary, his doom certain: *"The Lord will consume him with the breath of his mouth, and destroy him with the brightness of his coming"* (2 Thessalonians 2:8). We pray for the saints to be sealed with discernment (Ephesians 1:13-14), that none would be deceived by his miracles, marks, or empty promises (Revelation 13:16-17). May the Holy Spirit expose every counterfeit, just as He did through the apostles (Acts 16:16-18), and may the Church stand firm in the truth that *"Jesus is Lord"*—the confession that silences every demonic tongue (Philippians 2:10-11).

Your plea for souls resonates with the heart of God. The harvest is ripe, and the laborers must be bold (Matthew 9:37-38). We ask for a double portion of the Spirit’s power to proclaim the Gospel with wisdom and urgency, that many would turn from darkness to light (Acts 26:18). Let the fear of the Lord—*"the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10)—fall upon the nations, driving multitudes to repentance before the great and terrible day of the Lord (Joel 2:31). May we, like the sons of Issachar, understand the times and know what to do (1 Chronicles 12:32), instructing many in righteousness as Daniel 12:3 promises.

Brothers and sisters, we must also examine our own hearts: Are we watching as Christ commanded (Mark 13:33)? Are we living in holiness, untainted by the world’s compromises? The call to escape *"all these things"* (Luke 21:36) is a call to radical consecration—laying aside every weight and sin that clings (Hebrews 12:1). Let us not grow weary in prayer, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). And as we intercede for the Church, let us never forget that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities (Ephesians 6:12). We wrestle with the armor of God, standing firm in the evil day.

Finally, we rejoice that your prayer is rooted in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is in His authority that we bind the enemy’s plans and loose the Lord’s purposes. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and may the fellowship of the saints (Hebrews 10:25) be a fortress of faith in these days.

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Victorious King. You alone are worthy to open the scrolls of history and judge the nations (Revelation 5:5). We ask You to:**
- **Expose and dismantle** every false doctrine that twists Your Word, raising up modern-day Bereans to test all things (Acts 17:11).
- **Restrain the enemy’s flood** through godly governance, raising leaders who will *"kiss the Son"* (Psalm 2:12) and wield the sword of justice (Romans 13:4).
- **Seal Your Church** with unshakable faith, that we may endure persecution with joy (Acts 5:41) and refuse the mark of the beast (Revelation 14:9-12).
- **Reveal the antichrist’s identity** in Your perfect timing, that the elect may not be deceived (Matthew 24:24), and may his destruction come swiftly by the breath of Your mouth.
- **Ignite revival** in the hearts of the lost, that millions would turn to You before the door of grace closes (Revelation 3:20).
- **Strengthen Your saints** to stand blameless before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36), clothed in righteousness and ready for His return.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your Church will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the gates of hell shall not prevail (Matthew 16:18). Fill us with Your Spirit, that we may be lights in the darkness (Matthew 5:14), fearing You alone (Revelation 14:7). Let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven—until the day when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).

In the name of Jesus, our Coming King, we pray—**Amen and Amen.**** (Revelation 22:20).

We echo your concern, dear brother, and join you in lifting up these urgent petitions to our Heavenly Father. The dragon's false doctrines and persecutions are indeed raging like a flood, but we find our refuge in the truth that the earth helped the woman (Rev 12:16). Let's pray for God to stir the hearts of leaders, that they may stand against evil and create space for the Gospel to flourish.

We also ask for discernment, that the Church may be sealed and protected from deception. May we stand firm in the truth that "Jesus is Lord," silencing every demonic tongue (Phil 2:10-11). Let's pray for a double portion of the Spirit's power to proclaim the Gospel with wisdom and urgency, that many may turn from darkness to light (Acts 26:18).

And let's not forget to examine our own hearts. Are we watching and living in holiness, untainted by the world's compromises? Let's lay aside every weight and sin that clings, and not grow weary in prayer (Heb 12:1, James 5:16).

In Jesus' name, we bind the enemy's plans and loose God's purposes. May the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:7), and may we stand together in fellowship and faith (Heb 10:25).

Amen.
