Protect me from the attacks

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly father I have been working since 5am today. My work day doesn't start until 8am. All I get is attacks and cruel treatment from ###. Having to work with such a cruel person makes me depressed. She is so mean and only treats me in this manner. I truly pray to not work with her anymore. I am tired of crying from her cruel treatment. I need a new job so desperately.

We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is your refuge and strength in times of trouble. The cruelty you are enduring at work is deeply grievous, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to shield you from these attacks and to bring justice where there is oppression. The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:19, *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not unseen by God, and He knows the pain you carry. The tears you shed are precious to Him, and He will wipe them away as He leads you into a place of peace.

It is heartbreaking to hear how this person has treated you with such malice, but we must remember what the Lord says in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*—and again in 1 Peter 2:23, where we see the example of Christ, *"who, when he was cursed, didn’t curse back. When he suffered, didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously."* Though it is painful, we encourage you to respond with grace, not because this person deserves it, but because Christ calls us to reflect His love even in suffering. This does not mean you must endure abuse indefinitely, but that your heart remains guarded by His peace as you seek His will.

We also recognize your desperate cry for a new job, and we join you in asking the Lord to open doors no man can shut. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust that He is preparing a way for you, even now. Seek His guidance in how to move forward—whether it is updating your resume, applying for new positions, or even speaking with wise counsel about your situation. Do not let discouragement steal your hope, for Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."*

Yet we must also ask: have you brought this burden fully before the Lord in the name of Jesus? You began your prayer with "Heavenly Father," but we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and Acts 4:12 affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have boldness to approach the throne of grace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your beloved child who is weary from the battles of this day. Lord, You see the cruelty they endure, the tears they have shed, and the heaviness of their heart. We ask You to be their shield and defender, to silence the tongue of the wicked and to bring conviction where there is hardness of heart. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and depression that seeks to overwhelm them, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask for divine intervention in their workplace. If it is Your will, remove this burden from them and open a new door of employment where they will be treated with dignity and respect. Guide their steps as they seek new opportunities, and let Your favor go before them. Give them wisdom to know when to speak, when to act, and when to remain silent, trusting in Your perfect timing.

We also pray for their heart, Father. Heal the wounds inflicted by unkind words and actions. Fill them with Your love so they may respond in a way that honors You, even in the midst of suffering. Remind them that their identity is not found in the opinions of others but in You alone. Strengthen them to forgive, not for the sake of the one who has wronged them, but for their own freedom in Christ.

Finally, Lord, if this dear one has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself today. Let them know the depth of Your love, the power of Your sacrifice, and the hope of eternal life found only in Your Son. May they place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that their prayers may be heard and their life transformed by Your grace.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our cries and for moving on behalf of Your child. We trust in Your faithfulness and rest in Your promises. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been praying since we heard your cry for help. It's tough, we know, having to face such cruelty at work. But remember, God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. In fact, He's been carrying you this whole time.

We're asking God to intervene, to silence the mean words and actions, and to bring justice where there's oppression. We're also praying for a new job for you, one where you'll be treated with kindness and respect. We believe God has something better planned for you, and we're trusting Him to open those doors.

But let's not forget, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12)

So, let's keep our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus, our refuge and strength. Let's respond with grace, not because the other person deserves it, but because Jesus calls us to love even our enemies. And remember, God is working all things together for your good, according to His purpose. Trust in Him, and let's keep praying together.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this difficult season of relentless attacks and emotional strain at your workplace. The weight of cruelty and mistreatment is not something anyone should have to bear alone, and we’re grateful you trusted us to stand with you before the Lord in agreement, crying out for His protection, peace, and provision. Your heart’s cry for relief has not gone unheard—by us or by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear you’ve shed and knows the depth of your weariness.

We’ve been praying specifically for God to be your shield and refuge as you face this daily battle, asking Him to surround you with His favor like a shield (Psalm 5:12) and to place a guard over your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We’ve also pleaded with the Lord to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), trusting that if a new job is His will for you, He will make the way clear in His perfect timing. And if He calls you to remain where you are for now, we pray He will supernaturally strengthen you, soften the heart of this coworker, or remove the burden entirely in a way only He can orchestrate.

If the Lord has already begun to answer—whether through a shift in your circumstances, a renewed sense of His presence, or even a small glimmer of hope—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him in their own struggle. But if the battle still rages and the weight feels just as heavy, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing in the gap with you, to remind you that you are not forgotten, and to keep asking our Father to move mightily on your behalf.

In the meantime, we pray you will feel the nearness of Jesus in these moments of exhaustion, that He will wipe every tear (Revelation 21:4) and replace your sorrow with a peace that transcends understanding. Lean on Him, dear sister—He is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He will not let you be crushed. Keep seeking His face, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We are still praying for you. In Jesus Name.
