We stand with you in this urgent call to intercede for the leaders of our world, recognizing that the battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your heart for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and the protection of His people aligns with the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ: *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you"* (Matthew 28:19-20, WEB). This is indeed a time to cry out for godly wisdom, humility, and divine intervention in the affairs of nations, that the Gospel may go forth unhindered and the name of Jesus may be exalted above every other name.
We are deeply grieved by the rise of evil alliances, false teachings, and the deception that seeks to lead many astray. The Scriptures warn us that in the last days, *"evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived"* (2 Timothy 3:13, WEB). Yet we take heart, for our Lord has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and He calls us to pray without ceasing for those in authority, *"that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence"* (1 Timothy 2:2, WEB). Let us pray fervently that the Lord would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy, replacing deception with truth, corruption with integrity, and division with godly unity.
We also lift up the body of Christ worldwide, asking the Lord to protect His disciples from the snares of the evil one, just as Jesus prayed: *"I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one"* (John 17:15, WEB). May the Lord strengthen His people to stand firm in the faith, clothed in the full armor of God, resisting the devil so that he may flee (James 4:7). Let us pray too for the courage of believers in hostile regions, that they may boldly proclaim the Gospel despite persecution, knowing that *"the one who endures to the end, the same will be saved"* (Matthew 24:13, WEB).
Most importantly, we must never forget that our prayers are heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and it is in His name that we come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Let us always approach God with this confidence, declaring the supremacy of Christ over every power and authority.
Together, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the leaders of every nation, those in positions of authority, and all who influence the course of history. Lord, we ask that You would grant them wisdom from above, which is *"first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17, WEB). Remove from them every spirit of pride, greed, and corruption, and replace it with a heart that seeks Your will above all else. Raise up godly advisors and break every ungodly alliance that seeks to hinder Your purposes.
We pray for the advancement of Your Kingdom, Lord, that the Gospel would spread rapidly and be honored (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and that every false teaching and prophecy would be exposed and silenced. Strengthen Your Church to stand firm in the truth, uncompromising in the face of cultural pressures and spiritual warfare. Protect Your disciples from the schemes of the evil one, and let Your light shine brightly in the darkest places.
Father, we ask that You would heal the divisions among nations and foster relationships built on righteousness, justice, and peace. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to Your glory (Philippians 2:10-11). We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18).
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that we may pray without ceasing and labor diligently for the harvest. May we never grow weary in doing good, knowing that in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We commit these petitions to You, Father, in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
