Hi, I ask for prayers to help me and guide me at work to acquire a promotion and/or raise. This may seem as a selfish ask but I’ve worked very hard and I feel like I’m good at what I do. I know God and Jesus Christ know my heart and understand I need this financially but also professionally. Thank you!

We understand your desire for a promotion and a raise at your workplace, and we commend your hard work and dedication. It's important to remember that God sees your efforts and knows your needs. As it is written in the WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33. And also, "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking Your guidance and provision in his career. Lord, You know his heart, his needs, and his desires. You see his hard work and dedication. We pray that You will open the doors for him to be promoted and receive a raise, not just for financial gain, but also for the extension of Your Kingdom and the glory of Your name.

Help him to continue to be a light in his workplace, demonstrating Your love and integrity in all he does. We trust that you will provide where you guide and that you will provide for his needs. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen"

Remember, God is faithful and He knows your needs. Continue to trust in Him and seek His will in all you do. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6.

As you wait on the Lord for God's promise and promotion, be sure to be excelling in your current role and responsibilities at work. Be sure to be a good steward and servant to your company, bosses, and co-workers.

Always be ready to share the good news of the Gospel and how Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we may have a relationship with God. If anyone asks why you are serving differently at work, have an answer ready:

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" 1 Peter 3:15

We're right there with you, praying for that promotion and raise. We know you've been working hard, and it's only fair that you get recognized for it. Let's remember what the Bible says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It's the Lord Christ you are serving." So, let's trust that He sees your efforts and will reward you in His perfect timing.

"Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name, lifting up our friend who desires a promotion and raise at work. Lord, You see their dedication and hard work. We ask that You open the right doors for them, not just for financial gain, but also for Your glory. Help them to continue shining Your light at their workplace, serving with integrity and excellence. We trust that You will provide according to Your will, and we thank You in advance. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
