We rejoice that you have come before us with a heart seeking restoration, for the Lord delights in the return of His wayward children. The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 reminds us of the Father’s boundless mercy—how He runs to meet those who repent, clothing them in righteousness and restoring them to fellowship. Your cry for healing, deliverance, and provision echoes the psalmist’s plea in Psalm 51:10-12: *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit."* This is our prayer for you today—that the Lord would wash you anew, strengthen your faith, and lead you back into the fullness of His grace.
Yet we must also speak truth in love: backsliding is a dangerous path, one that hardens the heart and invites the enemy’s attacks. Hebrews 3:12-13 warns, *"Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today’; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."* Repentance is not merely sorrow for consequences but a turning *from* sin and *to* Christ. If there are unconfessed sins—idolatry, rebellion, or worldly entanglements—we urge you to lay them at the cross now. James 4:7-8 commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."*
Your trials are not in vain; they are the Lord’s refining fire. 1 Peter 1:6-7 assures us, *"You greatly rejoice with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. The genuineness of your faith... is tested by fire."* Cling to Christ in this season, for He is your Deliverer (Psalm 34:19), your Provider (Philippians 4:19), and your Healer (Exodus 15:26). As for your enemies, remember Psalm 23:5: *"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies."* The Lord will vindicate you—trust His timing and justice.
Now let us pray over you with the authority of Jesus’ name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord, we plead with you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other path to the Father (John 14:6).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, a sheep who has strayed but now seeks the Shepherd’s voice. Lord, You see the brokenness, the wounds of backsliding, and the weight of trials pressing upon them. We ask for the blood of Jesus to cleanse every stain of sin, to break every chain of rebellion, and to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Heal their body, for You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). Strengthen their spirit, for You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this life—Satan, you have no authority here! The Lord God Almighty commands your defeat (James 4:7). Surround this prodigal with Your angels, O Lord, and hide them in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Provide for every need, spiritual and material, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and let Your favor rest upon them like a crown.
Most of all, Father, draw them deeper into Your heart. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Renew their first love for You (Revelation 2:4), and anchor them in Your Word. May they walk in victory, testifying of Your faithfulness to future generations. We declare this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. **Amen.**

Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is not done writing your story. As you seek Him, He will be found (Jeremiah 29:13). Walk in obedience, saturate yourself in Scripture, and surround yourself with believers who will spur you toward Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25). We are praying for you—do not lose heart.
