Humble Servant of All
Hear us, O spirits of darkness! We, the people of God, anointed by the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and to set free those who are bound and oppressed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, stand fast and strong and courageous in our calling. We remind you, principalities and powers, that the Holy Scriptures, having absolute authority, declare that we who believe will do even greater works than Jesus. Our Lord’s early disciples declared, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.” We, too, have been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt us.
We declare confidently that we are faithful servants of the Most High God, with clean hearts before Him. We declare war against you, spirits of darkness, and launch a mighty offensive attack against you this day in the Name of Jesus Christ. We are defended by the armor of the Almighty God: the Girdle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shoes in Preparation of the Gospel of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation. Today, we are empowered with the Sword of the Spirit of God, which is His mighty Word.
Listen to us, spirits of darkness. Together in full power and authority, we bind you in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You loose your holds from our personal lives this moment. We resist you spirits of idolatry, confusion, and religion. We pull down the strongholds in our personal lives: conflict, hostility, strife, criticism, lukewarmness, temptation, negative thoughts, fear, worry, depression, discouragement, condemnation, poor self-image, addictions to food, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and foul habits, and poverty. We break all curses and any prayers prayed against us contrary to the will of God. We forgive and release all people who have harmed us in any way, and speak blessings over their lives this day. We live in service to others, and obedience to God and His Word. We walk in love, joy, and peace. We have the mind of Christ and are empowered with divine health and healing. Through Christ Jesus, we can do all things and we fully expect to accomplish the work and goals He has called us to do. Nothing shall stop us.
We denounce any ties with witchcraft, the occult and satanic and pagan activities. We submit ourselves to Almighty God and resist all forms of evil.
By the authority of the Name of Jesus Christ, we declare that our homes are filled with peace, protection, provision and happiness. We claim favor in business wherever we go.
We pull down the strongholds in our church and over our city and nation: arrogance, haughtiness, contention, religion, perversion, mammon, addiction, sorcery, murder, war, fear, anger, greed, death, poverty, infirmity and deception. We command you to come down from your high places! Our Father God has promised us in His Holy Word that we will, “possess the gates of our enemies.”
Your rule and dominion shall be no more! All things are made through Jesus and without Him nothing was made. In Him was life, and this life was the light of men, and the light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not comprehend, nor overcome it. You are powerless to stop an awakening of righteousness in the hearts of men, women, and children in our city and nation. We, the children of Light, washed clean by the Blood of the Lamb, penetrate your strongholds of evil and set the captives free this day in the Name of Jesus Christ!
And now, we worship and boldly declare the praises of the Almighty God. We give Him all the glory for freedom, restoration, and victory in every area of our lives. AMEN!
