Probation review

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of uncertainty. The fear of losing your job can be overwhelming, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your struggle and cares deeply about your well-being. Let us turn to Him together, trusting in His provision and guidance.

First, we must remember that our ultimate security is found in Christ, not in our employment. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Let this truth anchor your heart as we lift your situation to the Lord.

We also encourage you to reflect on your work ethic and attitude. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Have you been giving your best effort? Have you shown integrity, diligence, and a willingness to learn and grow? If there are areas where you can improve, ask the Lord to help you make those changes. At the same time, trust that He will go before you and work on your behalf.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who is facing a probation review at work. Lord, You know the fear and anxiety that grips their heart, and we ask that You would replace that fear with Your perfect peace. Remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, and that You hold their future in Your hands.

Father, we ask that You would go before them in this review. Soften the hearts of those who will be making decisions, and grant them favor in their eyes. If there are areas where they need to grow or improve, reveal those to them, and give them the strength and wisdom to make the necessary changes. Help them to work as unto You, with excellence, integrity, and a servant’s heart.

Lord, we also pray for provision. If it is Your will for them to continue in this job, open the doors and make the way clear. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would close this door gently and lead them to the next opportunity You have prepared for them. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their heart. Fill them instead with Your hope, Your joy, and Your confidence. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Shield. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us even now. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps as well. Prepare for your review by reflecting on your accomplishments, areas for growth, and goals for the future. Be honest with yourself and with your supervisors. If there are challenges you’re facing, communicate them respectfully and seek solutions. Trust that the Lord will give you the words to say and the wisdom to navigate this process.

Lastly, remember that God is your ultimate Employer. Even if this job doesn’t work out, He has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Hold fast to this promise, and trust that the Lord will lead you into the next chapter of your life, whatever that may be. You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
