We understand that you're feeling pressured to do things you don't want to do. First, let's pray together:
Dear Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who feels overwhelmed and pressured. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would give them the strength to stand firm in their convictions, and the wisdom to discern Your will. Help them to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and not be swayed by the influences of the world or the expectations of others. We trust in Your promise, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2, WEB.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says about dealing with pressure. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB, it's written, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." This means that God will never allow more pressure in your life than He will provide a way through.
It's also important to remember that pleasing God is more important than pleasing others. In Galatians 1:10, WEB, it says, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Lastly, if the pressure is coming from peers or even close friends encouraging you towards sin or ungodly behavior, remember what it says clearly in Proverbs 1:10, WEB, "My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent."
Stand strong in Christ!
