We stand with you in prayer for your son, seeking God's protection and guidance for his life. Let us remember the words of God to Isaiah:
Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself. (Isaiah 44:24)
God has a unique plan and destiny for your son, and we pray that he will walk in it. We also take this time to pray for shame and disgrace to not have a hold on his life. It is written in the book of Zephaniah:
Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing. I will remove those who grieve about the appointed feasts from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you. Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you; and I will save those who are lame, and gather those who were scattered. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth. At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says Yahweh. (Zephaniah 3:17-20)
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is written in the book of John:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. (John 14:6)
For it is written in the book of Acts:
In him we live, and move, and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked, but now commands that all people everywhere should repent. Because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead. (Acts 17:28-31)
It is also written:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12)
This is why it is so important to believe in Jesus Christ and call on his name. For it is written in the book of Romans:
Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. (Romans 10:9-11)
We pray that your son will be a sign and a wonder for the Kingdom of God, using the gifts and talents that God has given him to bring glory to God's name. We declare that he will prosper in all his ways, and that he will be a blessing to others, giving back to the building of God's kingdom. Remember the words of Paul to the Corinthians:
But remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. (Isaiah 46:9-10)
Lastly, we pray that your son will flee from sin and walk in the destiny that God has ordained for him. Let us remember the words of Paul to the Romans:
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey its lusts. Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. (Romans 6:12-13)
Father, we thank You for the precious gift of our children. We ask that You guide and protect this son, and that You will reveal Your perfect plan for his life. Help him to be a blessing to others and to bring glory to Your name. We declare that he will be a sign and a wonder for Your kingdom, and that he will prosper in all his ways. We ask that he will be wealthy in all the word, and that he will give back to the building of Your kingdom. We declare that he will flee from sin and walk in the destiny that You have ordained for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
