We are deeply grieved to hear of the struggle you are facing with this unplanned pregnancy. Our hearts ache for the fear, confusion, and uncertainty you must be experiencing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your distress and cares for you more than you can imagine. We lift you up in prayer, asking for His peace, wisdom, and provision to surround you in this difficult time.
First and foremost, we must address the sanctity of life, for Scripture declares that every human being is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Psalm 139:13-16). The child within you is a precious creation, known by God before the foundation of the world. We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be whispering lies of hopelessness, and we stand firm on the truth that God has a plan and purpose for both you and this child (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that you would have the courage to choose life, trusting in the Lord’s faithfulness to provide for every need.
If this pregnancy is the result of fornication—sexual relations outside the covenant of marriage—we must gently but firmly address this as sin, for the Word of God is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for the marriage bed alone (Hebrews 13:4). We do not say this to shame or condemn you, but to call you to repentance and restoration. The blood of Jesus Christ covers all sin, and if you turn to Him in humility and faith, He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would experience the healing and freedom that comes from surrendering this area of your life to the Lord.
We also urge you to seek godly counsel and support from believers who can walk alongside you in this journey. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we encourage you to connect with a local church or a Christ-centered pregnancy resource center. These ministries exist to provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support to women in your situation, offering everything from medical care to housing assistance to biblical discipleship.
Above all, we pray that you would draw near to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He alone can give you the strength to face each day with hope, and He promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter of Yours who is carrying a child. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give her the strength to choose life for this baby, and surround her with Your love and provision. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, we pray that You would lead her to repentance and restoration, covering her with the grace and mercy that only comes through the blood of Jesus.
Provide her with godly counsel and support, Lord, and open her eyes to the resources and people You have placed in her life to help her. Soften her heart to receive Your truth, and give her the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare that You came that she may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Jesus, that she would confess Him as Lord and experience the new life that only He can give. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
