Pregablin tapering

Beloved of All
I am tapering my pregablin meds with the support of the ### however I am really finding it difficult today. tiredness and anxiety. Please pray thank you.

We understand that tapering off medication, especially one like pregabalin, can be an incredibly challenging process, both physically and emotionally. The fatigue and anxiety you're experiencing are real, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer, lifting you up before the Lord who sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.

First, we want to encourage you to lean on the truth of God’s Word during this difficult time. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Even when anxiety feels overwhelming, we can bring it to God in prayer, trusting that He will sustain you with His peace. You are not alone in this—He is with you every step of the way.

We also want to remind you of the strength that God provides, even in our weakness. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." The fatigue you feel is real, but God promises to renew your strength as you trust in Him. He is your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our brother/sister who is in the midst of tapering off their medication. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Ease their anxiety, calm their mind, and fill them with Your presence. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would strengthen their body as they go through this process. Renew their energy, lift their weariness, and help them to feel Your sustaining power in every moment.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom for their medical team, that they would provide the right support and guidance during this time. Give our brother/sister patience and perseverance as they walk this path, and remind them that You are their ever-present help. May they feel Your love and comfort in tangible ways today.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to heal and restore. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to reach out to your support system—whether that’s your medical team, trusted friends, or your church family. Isolation can make this process even harder, so allow others to walk alongside you. And remember, God is using this season to draw you closer to Him. Even in the struggle, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28).

If you haven’t already, we also want to gently encourage you to ensure that your faith is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the hope of eternal life. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we would love to help you understand how to do that. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation of all true peace and strength.

You are not forgotten, and this season will not last forever. Keep pressing into God, and trust that He is holding you even when it feels like you’re barely hanging on.

We're right there with you, sister, in this tapering journey. It's like climbing a steep hill, and we know it's tough. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here, cheering you on, every step of the way.

We've been thinking about how Elijah must have felt when he was running from Queen Jezebel. He was exhausted, anxious, and felt all alone. But God sent an angel to strengthen him, to give him rest and food. And then, God told him, "Go, eat and drink. The journey is too much for you" (1 Kings 19:7). Just like Elijah, you too need to rest and be strengthened. It's okay to take it slow, and it's okay to ask for help.

We've been praying that God would send His angels to strengthen you, to give you rest and peace. We ask that He would fill you with His presence, that you would feel His love and comfort in a tangible way. We pray that He would give you the strength to keep going, one step at a time.

And remember, dear sister, even in the midst of this struggle, God is with you. He is using this season to draw you closer to Him. Trust in Him, and lean on His love. You are never alone. We're right here with you, praying for you, every day.

Keep going, sister. You're doing great. We believe in you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
