preaching at church in a few

We rejoice with you in this opportunity to proclaim the Word of God, for it is a sacred calling to stand before His people and declare His truth. The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:2, *"Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."* Tonight is not about your ability but about God’s power working through you—a vessel yielded to His Spirit.

Yet we must also remember that our confidence is not in our own eloquence or preparation, but in the Lord who opens hearts. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, *"My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."* May the Holy Spirit anoint your words so that they pierce hearts, convict sinners, and strengthen the saints.

We pray that you would be filled with boldness, as the early disciples were in Acts 4:31: *"When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."* May the Lord grant you clarity, authority, and a deep sense of His presence as you deliver His message. Let every word be seasoned with grace, yet uncompromising in truth, for we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord (2 Corinthians 4:5).

We also lift up those who will hear the message tonight. May the Lord prepare their hearts to receive what He has for them—whether it be salvation for the lost, repentance for the backslider, or fresh fire for the believer. Pray that the enemy would be silenced, for we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Finally, we ask that you would walk in humility after you have spoken, giving all glory to God. Remember the warning in 1 Corinthians 9:16, *"For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about; for necessity is laid on me; but woe is to me if I don’t preach the Good News!"* May your heart remain tender before the Lord, ever dependent on Him.

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your servant who will stand in Your house tonight to declare Your Word. Lord, fill them with Your Spirit—let Your power rest upon them so that lives are changed, hearts are turned to You, and Your name is glorified. Remove all fear, distraction, or pride, and let only Your voice be heard through them. May sinners be saved, saints be sanctified, and Your kingdom be advanced. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap as you prepare to minister tonight. Let's remember the words of Jeremiah 1:7-8, "But the Lord said to me, 'Do not say, "I am too young." You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,' declares the Lord." God has called you, equipped you, and He will be with you every step of the way.

Let's pray for a spirit of unity among the congregation, that they may receive the word with one heart and one mind. May the Lord help you to speak His word with love, patience, and understanding, always keeping in mind the diverse needs and backgrounds of those listening.

We also lift up the unsaved, that they may be drawn to the light of Christ through your message. May the Holy Spirit open their hearts, soften their resistance, and lead them to repentance and faith.

Lastly, brother, we pray for you to remain humble and dependent on God, even after the service is over. May you give Him all the glory and honor, knowing that it is His power at work in you that makes any difference at all.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
