We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer and to share from God's Word. Let's turn to Psalm 23:1, "Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing."
This verse reminds us of God's tender care and provision. As we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, we can be assured that He will guide, protect, and provide for us. In John 10:11, Jesus said of himself, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep," which confirms that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Psalm 23:1 promise.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You shepherd us today, that You guide us in Your paths of righteousness. Help us to trust in You, that we may never be in want. Protect us, provide for us, and help us to live lives that honor and glorify You.
Father, we also pray for those who do not yet know You, who do not call on the name of Jesus through believing in their hearts. We pray that You would open their hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know You as their shepherd and Lord.
If there's anything in our lives that does not align with Your will and Your Word, reveal it to us. Give us the strength and courage to turn away from it and to follow You fully.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, O God. It is by His name that we are saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray this believing in Jesus Christ.
