"Wednesdays In The Word" @ Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. This truly blessed my soul. Two of my favorite preachers on the same podium. Favs; because both have been through the fire, unscorched. Refined, recognizes refined. After you come through it; God will exalt you to it. You just gotta be . . .
For certain, none of us are perfect; but, we must be honest in acknowledging the testimony God has given to us. For the days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.
Dr. Bryant, you are reminiscent, in many ways, of Solomon, whom, like all of us, was imperfect: Just, please don't turn away from God. I believe, that because you have sought wisdom and understanding, for the betterment of your people, God has, not only, given you that; but, has also positioned you, for so much more. I am asking God for exceeding, abundant blessings for you, your ministry, and those who bless your ministry. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Dr. Cosby, it has taken five years for God to bring me full circle to my Ezekiel 16 testimony; for He truly is a jealous God. Howbeit, there is no doubt in my mind, that you will, some day, acknowledge and testify of how He is ushering you, and your church, through the book of Isaiah. For heaven's sake, God showed up at your house - in real time!!! Sorry, there are some things about which, I cannot be nonchalant. I just had to tell somebody, everybody, about His visit to my journey; which, so happens, included your house.
Everything that happened, my stuff and eveyone else's, didn't just randomly happen, but was all foretold in the scriptures. ALL OF IT. So, if you're gonna let yourselves off the hook; you gotta let me off too. The only reason God does anything, is to bring His Word to pass, so that He can get the glory, through our testimony. Didn't He do it?!
Hats off to you both! (Yes, Dr. Bryant, you gotta catch 'em, before you can clean 'em. Jesus was aware, which is evident in His analogy, "fishers of men")
To the rest of the Shepherds and Disciples out there, I hope you will receive this with the spirit that it's given.
If you're gonna counsel; counsel! If you're gonna help; help! But, there is no need to demonize anyone to accomplish either. BE ABOUT IT! Scripture says, God has heard every discouraging word you have uttered. I never did anything to any of you; but, some of y'all were really trippin' on a sista, because of a snippet of a testimony, with which you had nothing to do; you do now.
Please don't be like Judas. Don't accuse someone else of wasting their gift? Some of you may have genuine concern: God knows. But, if it's all the same to you, may I just message His feet with a little perfume? I simply can't help myself. His feet are just SO VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! Besides, it didn't cost you anything. [John 12:1-7]
