We lift up your future mother-in-law before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power over life, death, and healing. Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, knowing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We ask for Your divine hand to guide the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved in her surgery tomorrow. Grant them wisdom, precision, and clarity as they work to remove the cancerous tumor. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and may she feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her in every moment.
Lord, we pray for her family as well, that You would comfort them and fill them with Your peace. Let them cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also pray for the journey ahead with chemotherapy and radiation. Father, we ask that You would make these treatments effective against the cancer, minimizing side effects and bringing full restoration to her body. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every cancer cell to die and every part of her body to be restored to full health, according to Your will. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done in her life, for Your glory and honor.
We also want to encourage you, as you prepare for this journey alongside your future mother-in-law. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is beautiful to see your heart for her well-being even before you are united. As you pray for her, remember that God is preparing you both for a marriage that honors Him. Seek His wisdom and guidance in your relationship, ensuring that it aligns with His Word. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May your future marriage be a testament to His love and grace, built on the foundation of Christ.
