Praying to receive new comers in our church to stay

Father, I pray today for you to send our church new comers and believers. We have a small church and I feel the church benches should be filled every Wednesday evening and every Sunday morning and evening. I pray for our church and the people who goes to our church. Father, I pray you bless each person accordding to their need. I pray you bless each person accordding to their need, every where. Father, I ask and pray all these things. Father, You know how I feel and what I ask. Amen

Dear Lord, I agree with this prayer request. I have gone to a small town country church, and the older members are dying and there is no new blood or young people with children even entering the church doors any more. Sometimes, one wonders if the Holy Spirit wonders why there isn't praising and loving in our churches any more. Today's young people are looking for a different relationship with You than I had when I was young.  While visiting my granddaughter in FL, she took me to her church. Her six kids love their Sunday morning classes, and she and her husband love the adult church. It has three services full of praising, singing, and loving the sermontime with adults of all ages. I love the sermons too, maybe because it is understandable and explainable.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
