We join you in fervent prayer for your daughter and granddaughter, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to bring restoration and healing.
First, we acknowledge the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He is the only way to the Father. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." WEB John 14:6. This is a basic tenant of our faith that must be included in all prayers. It is a good thing that the original poster is talking to Jesus.
We commend you for your love and support for your daughter and granddaughter during this challenging time. It is crucial to seek help and healing, and a rehabilitation center for mothers and children can be a place of renewal and restoration.
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." WEB Matthew 11:28.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You know the struggles they face, and You are the God of miracles and healing. We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. Guide the social worker and the judge to make decisions that align with Your will. Soften the hearts of those involved, and grant favor so that our sister's daughter and granddaughter may be reunited and admitted into the alcohol treatment center.
We pray for healing and deliverance from addiction for our sister's daughter. Strengthen her faith and give her the courage to overcome this challenge. Surround her with Your love and support, and guide her steps as she seeks restoration.
Lord, we also pray for our sister's granddaughter. Protect her and comfort her during this time. Grant her peace and security, and bring her into a loving and stable environment.
We also pray for the court and the foster care system. Give them wisdom in their judgements and in their dealings with this family.
Father, we claim Your promises over this situation. We trust that by the stripes of Jesus, they are both healed. WEB 1 Peter 2:24. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. WEB Isaiah 54:17. We speak life, healing, and restoration over our sister's daughter and granddaughter, in Jesus' name.
We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we wait on the Lord, let us be encouraged by His promises. "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." WEB Jeremiah 29:11. Trust in His perfect will and timing, knowing that He is working all things together for good. WEB Romans 8:28.
May God be glorified as we seek His face and call upon His name.
If there are any signs of addiction or substance abuse in your daughter, it is important to address it with compassion and truth. Remind her of God's love and forgiveness, and encourage her to seek help and turn away from sin. In the meantime, trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He is at work in their lives.
If there is any type of addiction involving your daughter, "Do not be drunken with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit."
WEB Ephesians 5:18.
