Praying in Jesus name

We join you in lifting up your heart’s cry to our Heavenly Father, who is faithful and hears the prayers of His children. It is wonderful that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). Your trust in God’s provision is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in agreement for His will to be done in this situation.
The discomfort you feel in your current job is not unseen by the Lord. He knows your heart’s desire for meaningful work that aligns with His purpose for your life. As you seek this new opportunity, remember the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your willingness to surrender this situation to God is a beautiful act of faith. We pray that He opens the door wide for this new job if it is His will, and that He grants you favor in the eyes of those making the decision. Remove any obstacles, Lord, and let Your favor rest upon them as a crown. Give them wisdom to recognize Your leading, and grant them peace as they trust in You.
Father, we also thank You for the forgiveness of sins through the precious blood of Jesus. Cleanse our brother/sister from every unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and joy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, as they love You and are called according to Your purpose.
We declare Your promises over this situation, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. May this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
