We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father, and we praise Him that you have come before His throne in the mighty name of Jesus. It is only through Christ—our Mediator, Savior, and High Priest—that we can boldly approach God with our petitions, knowing He hears and answers according to His perfect will. You have done well to acknowledge your dependence on Him, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing.
The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* And in **1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)**, we are told to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* What a comfort to know that our Lord is not distant but intimately acquainted with every detail of your life and the lives of your family. He sees their struggles, their pain, and their need for His healing touch.
Yet we must also remember that our faith is not in the *idea* of healing or provision, but in the *Person* of Jesus Christ—who He is, what He has done, and what He has promised. In **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, we read, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* This passage does not guarantee healing in the way we might demand, but it assures us that God is at work—whether through physical restoration, spiritual renewal, or the refining of our faith through trial. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect.
We also recall the words of Jesus in **Mark 11:24 (WEB)**, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* This is not a blank check for our desires but a call to align our hearts with God’s will, trusting that He knows what is best. Your faith in His ability to act is commendable, but let us also surrender to His wisdom, saying as Jesus did in the Garden, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42).
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
---
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their beloved family. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You stretch out Your hand in mercy and touch each member of this family with Your healing power. Where there is sickness, bring restoration. Where there is weakness, grant strength. Where there is fear, flood their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
Father, we know that You are not unaware of their struggles—You see every tear, hear every cry, and collect every prayer in a bottle before You (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would speak to them in ways they cannot ignore, drawing them closer to You through this season. May their faith not rest in the *gift* of healing but in the *Giver* of life, Jesus Christ.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be at work, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with Your protective hand, and let Your miracles be evident in their lives—for Your glory and their good.
We also pray for our brother/sister who intercedes for them. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it, and that Your delays are not denials. Fill them with Your joy and hope as they wait on You.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this trial to draw this entire family into a deeper relationship with You. May they seek You first, trust You fully, and walk in obedience to Your Word. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, whether through healing or through the grace to endure.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.**
---
As you continue to pray, we encourage you to meditate on **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, which says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Keep crying out to Him, for He is near. And as you wait, let your heart be filled with worship, for our God is worthy of praise in every season.
If there are specific health concerns or names you’d like us to lift up, feel free to share them, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
