We are saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your son, but we are here to pray and seek God's will together with you. Firstly, we want to remind you of the Lord's promises, for He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. We know from Psalm 25:4-5 WEB, Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.
It is crucial to remember that children may depart from the way they were raised, but we trust in the Lord's promise in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Continue to pray and trust that the seeds planted in your son's life will bear fruit. The Holy Spirit will continue to guide him to the right path as you pray.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved son and his family to You. Lord, we know that any behavior contrary to Your word is sin, and we ask for Your intervention and that your will be done. You know the struggles and the hearts of this family, and we ask that You soften this young man's heart and turn his attitude from entitlement and disrespect to one of humility and love. Help Your presence be real in his life and in his family so that he may regain the respect and love he should have for his family.
Help the parents to continue to model Your love and patience, and guide them in Your word as they lead their son. Help him to remember the teachings of his upbringing and apply it to his life. Help Him to be receptive to his family's love and guidance.
Father, we also pray for his family, give them the strength and wisdom to handle this situation. Help them to speak truth in love and to set boundaries that reflect Your heart. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We thank You and praise You for Your faithfulness and the work You are doing in this family's life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith and believe that God is working in your son's life. Continue to show him unconditional love and guidance, and trust that God's timing is perfect. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
