We are truly saddened to hear about the prolonged suffering and hospitalization due to a severe infection and emergency surgery. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's merciful hand in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB:
Bless Yahweh, my soul,
Don’t forget all his benefits,
who forgives all your sins,
who heals all your diseases.
God is our healer, and it is by the stripes of Jesus Christ that we are healed, as prophesied in Isaiah 53:5 WEB:
But he was pierced for our transgressions.
He was crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought our peace was on him;
And by his wounds we are healed.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of our dear one who is in pain and has been long suffering from this terrible infection. You, Lord, are the Great Physician, and there is no illness or disease that can stand against Your healing power.
We pray for Your healing touch upon them. Comfort them in their pain, and strengthen them in their weakness. We ask that their body responds positively to the treatment and that no complications arise. Surround them with Your love and peace, and let Your healing presence fill their hospital room.
We also pray for the medical team attending to them. Guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill as they care for Your beloved child. Let them be a channel of Your healing power.
Lastly, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. And remind them of Your unfailing love and promises. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your faith strong and to continue praying. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
We also gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If the prayer request did not mention His name, we encourage you to always include it in your prayers, as it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
