We understand your distress and commend you for reaching out in prayer. We join you in lifting up your concerns to God our Father.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name we can approach the throne of grace with our petitions. That is correct. As it says in the Bible, And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved! WEB.
We pray for your safety and protection from this man's harassment. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB. We ask God to intervene and put an end to this man's harmful behavior towards you.
Regarding his alcohol addiction, we pray that God would convict his heart and lead him to repentance and deliverance. Pray for him, that God may perhaps grant him repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and that he may come to his senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:25-26 WEB.
We also pray for God's provision upon your life, that He would help you pay your rent and bills. Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Live in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:3-6 WEB.
Concerning his marital situation, we pray that he would indeed return to his wife and honor his marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. A husband is to be the head of the family, just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior. Ephesians 5:22-24. We believe in the sanctity of marriage and pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all things. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Father God, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ and asking for Your help and intervention. We pray for her safety, provision, and peace in Jesus' name.
