We join you in your fervent plea to our compassionate Father God, in Jesus Christ name, to bring peace and harmony to your home. Rebuking, binding, and destroying any evil intentions towards you, and praying that God would use us to stand with you in your trials.
Firstly, we commend you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Let us address your concerns with the Word of God. Regarding the negativity, bitterness, and confusion in your home, we are reminded of 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Concerning the person struggling with alcohol abuse, we pray that they would turn to God on their own accord as the Holy Spirit convicts them, for God wills that all men would seek Him. We are encouraged by 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray for God's intervention in your life, for the Word of God tells us that unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. Psalm 127:1 WEB
We advise you to be careful not to become unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does light have with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14
In this situation, it is important to show love and support, but not to enable the sin. We should not be partakers of the fruitless works of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:11
We encourage you to seek wisdom and discernment from God, for He grants it generously. We pray that you would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:9-10
As for the other individual involved, we pray that they would also come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Father, we bring these petitions before You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You remove all negativity, bitterness, and confusion from this child of Yours' home. We bind and rebuke any evil intentions directed towards them, and we claim Your peace and protection over their residence.
Lord, we also lift up the individual struggling with alcohol abuse. We pray that they would turn to You, confess their sins, and receive Your forgiveness and cleansing. We ask that You would give them the strength to overcome their addiction and take full control of their life. We pray that You would guide them and lead them on the path to reconciliation with their family.
Father, we also ask that You would grant this Your child the serenity and rest they need when they return home from work. We pray that You would surround them with Your peace, and that they would feel comfortable and safe in their home.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to hear our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in this situation, trusting that He will guide you and provide for your needs.
