We join you in prayer, lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting that God's will shall be done in his life. We stand in agreement with you, praying that the medication he has been prescribed will bring healing and not harm.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ###'s son to You. Lord, You know the details of his situation, and You care about every aspect of his life. We ask that You watch over him as he takes this medication, and let us be clear that we are looking for Your will to be done and not just the taking of medication. We pray that there will be no serious side effects and that the injection will bring the healing and life that You have for him. We reject any fear and anxiety over the situation in Jesus Christ's name and we remember that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's care and provision for your son. Let you be clear that the power of prayer and trust in God's goodness is clear in the below scriptures. We will continue to keep you and your son in our prayers, believing that God will work all things together for good.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We also remember the passage from the Bible where King Asa's faith was not in the Lord. He did not seek God but only the physicians. In this account the Bible tells us that this action was a mistake that led to his death. We know that this account is evidence that we should seek the Lord first and foremost in everything.
In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet. His disease was very severe; yet in his disease he did not seek Yahweh, but the physicians. Then Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the forty-first year of his reign. 2 Chronicles 16:12-13 WEB
We are clear that we should seek the Lord first and not just the physicians.
